Do you have a video in vertical down with thin metal c purline 1.2mm on T join Because im always fail in to do this More slag in the middle between two base material I try to pracrise c purline 1.2mm. With e6013 rod, 80 to 90 amps Thanks
I HATE 6010 and 6011 rods..... All the are good for are root passes so they can be covered up with E-7018. The thing that makes them difficult to use is they are a fast freeze rod and are very easily stuck. That and all the spatter balls everywhere just makes them probably my least favorite rods to use.....
What. The. Very. F**k. Was. That.....If I ever done anything like that, even as an apprentice, I would have been locked in a steel box, with the lid welded shut!
I’m in trade school right now learning to weld and we started doing uphill and downhill welding and I’m better at uphill than downhill. Downhill looks horrible, trying to figure it out.
right electrode. right angle, right speed. can slight L#R upside down U, stay ahead of the weld pool ,,, ors ur FKED ! urs faithfiully Old fart Boily....🥸
This is the most awful instructional video I have ever seen. Lincoln School principles should take down this video as it reflects really badly on what they are teaching and the people teaching it. If someone came for an interview to work for us saying they had attended welding courses from this School, the first thing I would do would show them into our forge and say show me what you you learned cos I don't believe your certificates. Wyvern Forge UK.
No close arc shots, no close shots of the weld before or after the slag is cleaned. I'm not saying it's the worst Vertical uphill 6010 demonstration, (more to do with the film crew probably) There's not that many to be fair But I wouldn't say it's the best imo.
If your in ARC magazine, it because you've paid to be in it.......mostly by running enough advertising (spending money with the magazine) where they will do a feature article on you or your business. This is why you always see articles in ARC magazine which are typically at a Lincoln or Miller facility. ALL magazines run on this premise. YOU can buy yourself a cover feature if you have enough coin.
Doing my test soon. Whenever I do vertical down the flux from the 7018 just piles over and makes a big puddle. But sometimes it slides down the sides if I’m lucky. Is there a way to fix this?
If you cant see the puddle or even the bead afterwards, this isnt a “master” class. Especially for that last technique ive never seen before in my life
