@@whitsendmedia so if set to 8K then this means it would be ≈ 33 megapixels? And how to choose the exporting settings or I don’t know what is it called, simply how to get at the end the best quality possible
"In Studio they have a thing called DVE, it just does it for you like magic..." Me, having used Studio for 3 years and never known thing: "Right, so... me stupid then."
Horrible tutorial. All stuff are already set and it is impossible to follow without googleing it million times and watching parallel videos for functions, where to find etc.
I think some RAW file formats work but not all of them. When I shoot my Canon in CRAW it won't import to DaVinci Resolve. I usually just edit my RAW photos in Lightroom. But DaVinci Resolve does allow for RAW video. Just not all RAW photos. Hope this helps!
A hanful of steps but one of the only fudion tuts I think i can duplicate. Isn't one of the benefits of doing this in Fusion that it can be saved? I know you just click on one of the nodes, do they have to be grouped or anything?
To my knowledge I don’t know if there is a way to save the node tree in fusion. But I do know that for a fusion composition you can save them to your power bins for all of your projects in that library. And for the color page you can save the node tree in there using power grades. I hope this helps. Thank you!
Hey I used the plugin for the first time on a project, when I tried to render the project it always stopped at this effect and the render time would keep going up non stop like 10hours plus. Any advice? Using free version btw
There could be many reasons for this. And it’s hard to diagnose without knowing everything. It could be your computer. It could be that you need to upgrade to DaVinci Resolve Studio for better optimization. It could be that it just needs that long to render (I’ve had projects render over 12 hours before). Or it could be a problem with your timeline. I know this isn’t the most helpful answer but I hope that this helps. Thank you for watching!
Thanks! You may have saved my groups grades this time. I ran into a problem caused by OpenCL when I tried loading H.265 footage with it. It was really confusing getting the right video extention and it still being broken. So thanks a lot.
