You said the .drx "does nothing for you". Is it not true that, should you want to further tweak your edited photo, the .drx would allow you to pick up the work where you left off... as you had it set-up in Davinci Resolve? 🤔

My images have a resolution of 6240 x 4160... and I haven't found a way yet to export in this high quality, even when I type in the custom resolution, it just creates a big black border around my image.. any tips?

I would just change the timeline resolution and fit your image inside your timeline. Then when you go to export you won't have black bars. Thank you!

What if you want to grade wedding photos? Can it be done? Do you have to do one at a time? How would you download them?

Yes, you can grade wedding photos. It isn't that much different from other software in that you usually grade each photo individually. But you can use the same grade on each photo if you wanted to. And you can download the photo in about any file format that you want.

It is possible to import RAW photos?

I think some RAW file formats work but not all of them. When I shoot my Canon in CRAW it won't import to DaVinci Resolve. I usually just edit my RAW photos in Lightroom. But DaVinci Resolve does allow for RAW video. Just not all RAW photos. Hope this helps!

in the deliver tab under format, just select tiff. you will want to make the project 1 frame long or else you will get a bunch of the same tiffs.

Horrible tutorial. All stuff are already set and it is impossible to follow without googleing it million times and watching parallel videos for functions, where to find etc.
