I see mixed reactions toward the new sound. I didn't know about this band until today, and the singer was one of the main things that grabbed me. I'm sorry to be on the other side of this situation, old-school fans. I feel the opposite toward Linkin Park.
There's nothing wrong about it, it's just most of us will find it hard to move on from Trenton's old voice, you should definitely listen to his songs (specifically these albums and EPs: Unimagine, Ground Dweller, Anon, Dissonants, and Reimagine). Hope this helps you. 😊😊
That's WHY people want a name change. It keeps BOTH side happy. It even allows you to like both versions of the band. Slaves changed their name to Rain City Drive after they got a new singer and now everyone loves them.
You play live exactly the same because I was moved by the music and singer. ( In your first second or third album ) You are great musicians, but this music doesn’t meet the quality I expect from you. ( remake some old songs to put to the test. ) No hate for the vocalist, but filling that gap is hard. Make a unique flow - Honestly, I don’t understand the lyrics. He sings well, but I don’t feel the vibe or connection with the song and words. Everything is difficult, but keep going and stay hopeful. Your old songs are still fire. 🤲🔥 😉
I still think a name change was in order for this completely different sound.Its evolving into what sounds like Nothing More.The past sound will be forgotten and covered up which is disrespectful to the man that made the band what it was.
