I consider it "affordable" based on the fact that the majority of my clients have relocated from South Florida or out of state, so that is "affordable" to them. My content is usually found by people interested in Orlando, but some of those people are priced out which is why I make content on areas further out from Orlando. In my current videos I usually add the "Cost of Homes" as a pro and con depending on everyones individual situation.
@EPaige I am retired single lady with a cute little puppy. I don’t care about night life but I would like to live in a community that is friendly, has a few restaurants, a hospital, doctors, dentists, Ophtalmologists etc the basic necessities as u age. Is it a safe community? I don’t like driving as much anymore. Would u recommend Haines City? I have so many questions… how far is it fr Miami where I have family? Tks
Hey Sonia, I can't comment on the safety of areas such as their crime rate due to fair housing laws, but I do often recommend the use of sites like Niche.com to my clients so they can see the ratings for their potential future home areas. Depending on traffic the drive from Haines city is around 3.5-4 hours, but if you are okay with driving to Orlando or Tampa you can take the Brightline train to Miami. I lived in Kissimmee Florida when it was still being built like 15years ago thinking of moving back and raising my kids there! Best child hood memories made there!

Very good & informative video. We've been (as tourists) staying at Haines City for 30 years. Whilst it has grown an incredible amount i still think it's a perfect distance from the hustle & bustle and I've nothing but good experiences with friendly locals and feeling safe as a foreigner. A real community feel. It's a dream to actually live there 👍🏻

Don't move to st. Cloud. every local is leaving. its like little puerto rico . crime went up ,, way up, . its not the same charm it use to have. osceola county is being destroyed. even my friends from PR is moving . go to north fl , its quiet and great jobs left. Ps 38 ft Pour House

They both usually have reviews from current and past residents of the areas. I hope you find these sites helpful and congratulations to your parents on their purchase!

What I can say is across all of Central Florida home & apartment buildings have appeared to be the main focus for builders/developers, but we are seeing an increase in projects for the rest of the infrastructure in each area to help accommodate with the rapid growth.
Speaking about the nearby shopping would be helpful not just the cost to purchase. What Grocery stores are nearby..Are they in the immediate area or does one need to commute thru the congestion to the next town? Speaking on the cost to rent would also be helpful as everyone may not be in the position to purchase. Speak about the schools for those that have children. Are daycare centers nearby? Give your viewers a thorough understanding of what is in the area as many are unfamiliar and the info provided isnt quite enough to entice people .. What beaches may be nearby. Im selling my home now and looking to relocate I see alot of rentals in this area but i dont see much else to show me what is conveniently located in the area to shop. No one wants to be in constant traffic to simply buy groceries. Maybe add this information moving forward. Thanks.

From 84 - 93 I lived in Polk Co. Auburndale. A dumpy trailer park on Recker Hwy. Pinehurst Dr. An then Jeans Rd. I loved the area an the people. The kids have fond memories of old fashioned bands at the gazebo an Cloggers at the park🤗 Along with the Strawberry Festival

I personally love both equally. I think once both of their large developments are complete it’ll be easier to chose between the two. Those developments being Sunbridge in St. Cloud and Olympus development Town Center & Wellness Way in Clermont. However if I had to pick today I would probably chose Clermont due to its topography and proximity to some of my other favorite areas.
