Wow , we have Eliza that smashed The Final Countdown by Europe doing back-ups ... she has major pipes .... I see she gained a little weight as well ... the lead is really good , but would have been great to see Eliza smash this song ....
It's great to see these young people tackling such technically complex and engaging songs. I can easily see many KC compositions like this being looked upon in a hundred years in the same vein as Phillip Glass would be.
I apologize. I was immediately upset that a girl was singing…and then she sung. She sings like paramore! It’s literally like paramore is doing a cover of toxicity! SO SICK.
Kudos to the young people singing this classic. I went back and listened to the the original version and have to say although this was a good cover, it doesn’t match the original. I would not expect it to.
These kids did a good job on this classic Cheap Trick song. HOWEVER, it's OBVIOUS the "adults" in the room DROPPED THE BALL. Why??? These kids are playing their hearts out, and the "grown up" running the show does a half assed job. The Audio levels and mix are atrocious and does these kids no good at all. And why separate the singer into a booth? Especially considering the mix was crap anyway??? They'd been better odf with her out with them enjoying their performance, instead of isolated in a box for nothing! And while it has nothing to do with the audio quality, but does with the performance overall, EVEN the camera work was crap! The poor kid playing rhythm guitar, the main staple of the music itself, gets ignored in the background while 99% of the focus is on everyone else in group shots AND close ups. All except him that is... smh...
