I do not see it working. you would have to plug the drain and exhaust port, for the pressure to hit hard at the source. the way you did it would have just pushed the water into the sink.

I actually bypassed the sink completely (disconnected it), sorry that's not very visible in the video at 1:25

I don't even have a micro workshop, but I'm able to build things. I just use portable workbenches/welding tables so I can make stuff in any part of the house or garden. Come to think of it, I think my workshop is the whole house and garden. So I do have a workshop; the only thing is, it's not in a fixed spot.

Young man, may I address you as Jakob? You have done an amazing job in such a really limited space. I have been working in wood for over sixty years, however I am impressed with your innovation, enthusiasm and ideas. Thank you for posting, may you and your loved ones keep safe and well, for the 18 "people" that put a thumbs down, WHY? This is a brilliant video, please keep posting!

Thank you for the tip that air will compressed. It's crucial to fill up as much water as possible. This will unclog more effectively. 😷 I was about to give up. Thanks to your tip, my drain is unclogged.

2:13 Water hits camera lens!! Quite effect if you've allowed your drain to block but better to use 100g of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) once a month preceded by boiling water (allowing time to transfer heat to the blockage/drains) they you won't need to disconnect your drain to unblock it! (Prevention still better than cure...)

@rrsuda740

💡A safety note: Never add water TO lye/caustic soda/sodium hydroxide/NaOH, ALWAYS add the sodium hydroxide TO the water. Reason for those who don't know is that NaOH + water creates an exothermic reaction, meaning it generates heat, which is even more intense if the ratio of the NaOH over the water is too high. So the reaction is needlessly, damagingly, even dangerously too intense if the initially small amount of water comes into contact with a larger amount of NaOH. When I mix a basic neutralizing solution at work, I use 140g in a 5 gallon jug, always adding the 140g/5oz of NaOH crystal/pellets slowly sprinkling into the 5 gal jug, then capping and shaking for at least 5 min, then setting aside until cool/reaction complete. I would advise something like this for drains, although the measurements may need to be different. Anyway, just needed to point out the detail of NEVER NaOH 1st! Too hot!

Why would it blow apart a drain lol. We out 500psi on a copper pipe. We also put a lot more like 1k psi on a metal pipe. I've blew PVC pipes with 400psi also. Don't listen to these comments it won't mess your pipes up. This is just a plunger that every one has in there house. Just different style

Cool! I’m building a “German MicroWorkshop” focused on antique/vintage tool restoration and small multi-material fabrication . My actual shop area is about the same, with the option of expanding into car areas when needed / possible. I had a far-out idea for you. What if you adapted your very clever table saw so that most of the top rotated 90º - a circle inside a square. I know that would be more than challenging with the wooden gearing you’ve built, but maybe we could solve that with some metal design? Also, I wasn’t clear if you could have material temporarily poke out your door - like while sawing? I admire your grit & creativity!

The floor trap in my toilet (suspect its clogged) as water ponding and slow draining. I got this kit, but its not working. Any other alternatives?
@samw6048
@samw6048 4 года назад
Check to see if something was dropped in the toilet. That's what happened to me. Toilets don't stay clogged, unless there is a foreign body staying in there. I had a toilet that kept clogging and nothing would stop this repetition and unclog it for good. It would clog for no good reason and wouldn't unclog when normal procedures (dumping a large bucket of h2o down the bowl, plunger, this gun thing, the big augure thing, nothing) should have done the job. I had to remove the toilet all together and we found a toothbrush had somehow gotten into the toilet, which would from time to time gather up all the TP and clog things up.
