my problems have use tabs i need cut out sguare piece at plywood, i drar lines and then toolpath make add tabs, its ok, but if i want cut first left side this sguare one line, left, then move clamps new place left has cutting can cut right side, ok, problem have i start cut left side line, cutting nice but when bit come back to start point destroy all tabs, cut ok and elevate tabs point ok but then bit go back start point not elevate bit at tabs position ad destroy all tabs. why aspire not generate toolpath right, i mean why not move cutting side line ad then elevate bit up to sheet top and then go back start point, why move back same level then cutting, and move back destroy all tabs sametime not elevate bit at tabs position when move back to start point. or many job same why not elevate bit and then go back start point. alltime after cutting go back start point and bit stay same level what cutting line.and move back have G1 speed, not fast move G0. i not understand what i make wrong i draw picture-make toolpath. all job same problem no move bit up then go back start point after cutting, if cut point start X0.0Y0.0Z-3 etc. and go point X300Y0.0 has cut line ok, BUT go back to 0.0 point same level Z-3 why ? need go up after cutting elevate bit Z0.0 and then go back X0.0
I know lately you've gotten way more traction on your tool review channel but I'd be interested to see you do more aspire videos and would think from the following you have on your other channel would flow over to this channel... I have vcarve pro maybe 1 day I can afford Aspire lol
A $2K software package from Vetric seems pretty pricy for a home user. What is the difference between the $349 and the $2K verson of the Vetric software?
I want to get into modeling, so much more you can do. a quick question. after you have your waves imported/modeled. Can't you just copy and paste a flag vectors (thats how I do different 2D flags) but once you bring it over to your drawling, when you do your tool path click on the box "project onto a 3D model?" If so, It woukld be a quicker way, and keep all your proportions correct on the star and stripe placement as well. let me know what you think.

Im just learning aspire. Still newbie at cnc. But i hVe to tell you. Your video has got to be one of the best i watched. You explained everything in a way that someone like myself can understand everything you did. You didn't miss a thing. Looking forward to give this a try and learning alot more from your videos. aspire doesnt have an option to open a SVG file for some reason so i cant even get past step 2/3 i think my copy is the newest as i just downloaded it...thoughts?
I got a cnc shark for Christmas in 2020 I was about 13 years old then, didn’t even know what it was the first thing I started carving on it was cedar, I don’t know why. I only had it set to 1500 rpm, I thought I had it at 15,000. That’s the thing I don’t like about the spindle tho, but I got used to it. And the only mistake that I made was cutting through a aluminum hold down, I made quite a few things, I’m busy all the time because of school and sports and don’t have the motivation to do anything, in 2020 I was watching a bunch of wood lathe videos and I asked my dad if I could get that but instead he gave me the cnc, it was really easy after watching the tutorials now it’s like I don’t even think about It I just program what I want it to do. I’ve made a inlay cornhole board with Michigan logo, I probably could have made more but never had any good ideas and then I don’t know how to post on Facebook marketplace
I'm used to larger, corded routers ru-vid.comUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.
Your video was very well done and informative. But as life goes, I somehow messed up somewhere along the line... and I mean really messed up 😂. My projected project cut time is just over 99 hours for a flag with a fire dept emblem... I have no idea what went wrong, but i would certainly appreciate any help or guidance.

Very helpful video! I don’t know anything about cnc routers and use my dremel tool a lot carving designs on the sides of small wooden boats. I’m trying to learn about cnc machines, and don’t know if I need a 3d router or if I can take the curved boat and flip it on a 2d carver? I would greatly appreciate any advice! Thought you were going to be my hero, as I was, and am, as frustrated as you were. However, since Aspire is beyond the price range of us mere mortals this cannot be performed in VCarve Pro. I was so excited to stop all the screwing around with stacked text but it appears I'm back to becoming frustrated again. Thanks for the brief moment of excitement.
