Hunting...a time to enjoy Mother Nature in all her splendor... It is the chance to harvest your favorite game allowing you to put food on the table and meat in the freezer.

But like everything I do, my OCD kicks in, and the need to do things a certain way takes over. This channel highlights some of the tips, tricks, DIY hacks and other useful ways my OCD has made my hunting life...and really my everyday life...a little simpler. With all that...plus some exciting hunts, detailed tutorials, honest gear reviews, and expert guest interviews... my hope is that my painstaking practice of changing, fixing and improving on ideas will help you on any of your endeavors.

Thanks for watching and remember to like and subscribe. Comments are also welcomed.

Blessings, The OCD Hunter

You can ALSO cut a slit on the corners so the sealed bag can be opened by hand. The scissors is a great idea though. Just in case.

The only downside of this knife is a short guard. If it would be a little long, it could be more safe for other tasks other than that the knife is great

I wouldn't know but I suspect that once you get through the coating on the 90° edges on the back of the blade, all those tasks you tried to do become much easier.

Thank you for the video! It was certainly a lot of work to show all of these possible uses. But my conclusion remains: The multi-purpose hook from Victorinox is the solution to problems that i don't have. Greatings from Bavaria

They are good for what they are I own both with the cerakote finish not the Teflon If yours are the Teflon it would explain the ferro rod issue Are they good for Bushcraft? There are better Hunting? There are better Combat? There are better Better than Mora? They certainly are more expensive but you get more on average with these blades If you just want a cheap but effective bushcraft blade - Mora Hunting - pick out something application purposed Combat - better even cheaper options Great versatile blade? Cold steel SRK Still, I like these particularly the M-07 and would be able to Make use of it under a variety of scenarios My go to blades, personally are Willam Collins or LT Wright ✌️🇺🇸

I've found the hook to be one of the more useful tools on my SAK. I use mine mostly for safety wire wrapping/tying. The one for pulling the tonneau cover to the snap is a great idea. I'm always fighting that thing.

My husband, he’ll cut a notch or a V-notch on both side of a bag. This way I don’t need to use a scissor or a knife, it will simply tear off.

OCD.............Very cool man. Great idea. I made one from an old, oversized Army BDU jacket. (I turned it inside out so the pockets would be on the inside). I glued and sewed (with dental floss) "netting " onto it, then strung jute I'd dyed different colors into the netting. It worked well, but your idea would be much faster and easier to make and your's looks very good. Thanks for the video. I just found your channel and subscribed. Keep up the good work.

I took the guts out of 3ft of Paracord.... Inserted jute twine that I coated with beeswax. I then tied the Paracord in a series of snake knots. I inserted a small ferro rod in one end of the Paracord, then sealed the ends.... I attached it to my huntsman....... Just another idea...

I will be keeping my Victorinox Super Tinker next to my Air fryer. I have 2 and 1 is 1 of my many EDC. I can't believe it can tighten Bicycle spokes. I only have been using it for a T shank jigsaw blade. Mind blowing with what everyone figures out how to use a tool.
