At going on 81, this song might mean something different than it might to someone in their 20's. I wish you all to have what I have, A wife of 58 years, 3 grandsons, 1 Granddaughter, & now one great grandson. God bless you all.
I heard a snatch of this song by accident, and for the first time, on the radio a few minutes ago and had to listen to it in its entirety. What a wonderfully phrased, so tender complement to his "What a Wonderful World" of a similar vintage, in the 1960s. Thank you for making it available.
I will never watch another Bond film. Killing my boy and leaving his child fatherless was the most cruel thing they could have done to the story of this man. But that's why they murdered him. Can't have men having heroes.
Beautiful Ella, sounds like my gorgeous mom. I can picture you singing this mom . I love and miss you so very much deeply my darling. ❤ Thank you for sharing this divine song and helping me feel close to my mom Ann Marie ❤
To be (or not to be (maybe)?! 😏) very didactic... "We Have All the Time in the World" is a James Bond theme song performed by Louis Armstrong. Its music was composed by John Barry and the lyrics by Hal David. It is a secondary musical theme in the 1969 Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the title theme being the instrumental "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", also composed by Barry. The song title is taken from Bond's final words in both the novel and the film, spoken after the death of Tracy Bond, his wife. As Armstrong was too ill to play his trumpet, it was therefore played by another musician (Herb Alpert most likely, based on his ties to Hal David and Burt Bacharach, and having played on the Casino Royale theme).[2] Barry chose Armstrong because he felt he could "deliver the title line with irony" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Have_All_the_Time_in_the_World
