26:00 great info for dealing with slum lords too. I lived in LA and was a renter for many years. At one point, I was living deep in the San Fernando Valley and the building I was living in had new ownership and was basically turning the place into a pig sty. I also wasnt receiving issues fixed in the apartment that they created during their renovation before I moved in. Thanks to a bandmate while on the road giving me advice on how to handle it, I was able to not only get out of my contract, but also received my full deposit back from them without any issue. Use your renter's rights people and stay calm, yet frosty, when dealing with situations like this. Remember that nothing gets done right if you're coming in hot headed.

It will always be the biggest radio mistake, that Ron, Anthony, Jim, and Sam didn’t get a show. Ron and Anthony holding court telling interesting stories, Jim with the fastball comedy, and Sam being the perfect board op who can run the show, take a beating while not getting butt hurt. That would have been Radio Gold.
It's refreshing to hear a white guy being allowed to be honest against the backdrop of the 2020's where it's only allowed to happen the other way around.

Miss this show....Opie is an asshat..... he was a radio hack who did his time and came up the hard way.. Rochester, car dealership Saturday's, Brother Weeze....etc. then he ran into Ant and Yimmy who dosnt come up through the program and that propelled him and the show into the stars.... bit he was still resentful that they were the real package but they know they needed Opie to be the radio God who knew the rock solid stuff they didn't know....as a package they were rock stars but Opie blew it up out of envy and childish arrogance instead of riding the train. Jimmy and Anthony knew and know that Opie was the radio veteran who did his time and I believe they respected him for that.
So…does Ant seek refuge in 17 year olds so he doesn’t have to face the shame of being sexually attracted to his mommy? I imagine women at and after a certain age remind him of his mommy. Weird.
