I built a vacuum engine out of Legos a while back, not quite as impressive as this, but with an oil pump and proper circulation of oil, it actually lasted over a hundred hours of runtime before the cylinders got too sloppy for the pistons to stay straight inside it. I'm very impressed with this though, you should absolutely make more engines. Make bigger engine. Water cooling. I want to see you build a car from scratch. It's always been my dream to do just that.
if you want to hand start, then rotate the flywheel backwards until it gets stiff (compression stroke) then spin it forward as fast as you can and hope it pushes through the next compression stroke with the momentum you gave it
