Great video! I have fished that island. It’s very beautiful and DIY fishing is very difficult but at the same time very rewarding. Bonefish will test your angling skills in every possible way. That’s not even mentioning permit fishing……

Sorry guys I have saltwater fly fished for over 35 years. Guys should have gotten a guide the first day and show you how to fish the flats. And like trout bone fish can be so picky with color size and what you are imitating. Use your trout brain. All these flies recreate a species and these species move a certain way. And bones know this. Like trout you don’t strip a dry fly like a streamer. Just a thought. But it is beautiful and still looks like fun. You guys always have fun. I love that.
As a recent subsriber to Wild Fly RU-vid channel, I cannot say how much I appreciate content like yours. As a parent and someone that fished a lot in my youth, who is now re-kindling my relationship with fishing through learning to fly fish... This film hit me right in the feels. The realationship between you and your mom is so heart warming and inspiring. Please keep up the tremendous film making.

Dirty ending Scotty! I screamed at the phone and both kids ran into the room saying, “what’s wrong daddy!” I told them Scotty played a trick on me. Then we spent the next 20 minutes explaining who Scotty is. Another great video as always. Really great watching you become such a terrific content creator over the last decade.
