sopranos is more dense. lots of moving pieces. very gritty. breaking bad is like, an action thriller thru and thru, stuff blows up a lot. pretty entertaining. two different things if you ask me.
Gus is actually pretty dispensable. Yeah he’s the main man but what about him can’t be replaced? He can’t cook. He has connections that can be replaced. Most clients would stay with their supplier out of sheer need of product. Gus was organized and had a good head for business and was a stone cold psychopath. A quality most political figures have. 😂
I liked Walt’s comment of Victor flying too close to the sun. Gus was already dealing with one egomaniac in Walt. The last thing he needed was to trade one for another, and Victor was proving then and there that he was an uppity climber.
I don’t believe the scene of the crime thing. If they identified victor and he was missing, what difference would it make? If he’s busted, we know all of Gus’ top guys are solid and get hazard pay if they have to do time. That explanation doesn’t make sense.
The Pygmy thing on the board is probably Hesh. Hesh is Jewish and couldn’t be made member of Cosa Nostra. He was a friend of Johnny Soprano but wasn’t part of the organization which was why he never taxed Hesh. Cosa nostra is one outfit, Jew mob is another. We also see near the end of the series when Jerry Torchiano beats up Eli that Hesh has family members operating a Shylock business that causes friction with New York. But the point being that although they are involved with one another, Hesh and his crew are actually a different organization than the Italian mafia and therefore would be reflected separately on the FBI breakdown of the Soprano family structure on the board. It’s also why Tony was so outraged that Junior started taxing Hesh and why he was justified in asking for a sit down over the issue. He wasn’t kicking up because he wasn’t technically a part of the family. However on the periphery enough that he felt taxation was a reasonable request.
I dont think Paulie would actually want the top spot. I think he is happier and better as an underling, and I think he knows he's not cut out for the job
Carmine was sooo much a machivelli he probably fake his death gave John cancer n took out Tony having butch do all the work for him 😂 aww man I love carmine
What if the cutting to black wasn't tony getting clipped but instead him having a panic attack. Think about it, his attacks occured when he was under stress and in the final scene u could feel the tension, tony knew his time would come wether that be literally or him going to the can. What if he got overwhelmed and had a panic attack??
Apparently Gus already knew Lalo would take Hector’s place before he ever appeared on the show. I’d assumed that he simply wanted Hector alive to torment him (which was no doubt part of the reason).
Another interesting theory that I’ve heard… uncle junior had a moment of clarity and orders a hit on Tony through uncle pat. Just like he did to Dickie moltisanti.
He walks around everyday with $3000 dollars j. Cash. Lives In a 2 million dollar house has a 3.5 million dollar boat. He’s living better than almost everyone everywhere.
