@ministangs I've had em for so long now🤔...I'm pretty sure I found em on ebay. Now, I have made single orders from 164lifestyle once and benchwork toys once. I'll get back to you when I remember my specific ebay source.
Awesome idea with layering the paint and putting the rust in between them as well! Love the overall look of it man and I think you nailed it! I agree 1k clear is my go to and a couple good layers and good to go. Thanks for sharing man! 😎👍🏻
@BullitTonyCustoms definitely. Seems like 55 Gassers usually require a lot of smoothing. And I have noticed that premiums are not only harder to strip sometimes, but definitely are a lot smoother afterwards. That Patina Truck came out killer, I love it 🙌 👍👍👍✌️
I was hoping you would show how you actually applied the decal sheet to the hood of the yellow car you started with. That hood has a deep depression in the middle of it, and sometimes I find it difficult to get a sheet of decal to fill depressions like that.
@jcsgaragejohnc.5027 Thank you😁 I've found all of mine from various places within the u.s. on ebay,Just look up scale motorsports it's the best looking and easiest to work with👍
I’ve definitely done this method in the past but not nearly enough but that’s such a good idea bro! And also good tip about keeping the paper so that way you have a template for that model in the future as well! Love how that civic and Silverado both came out 😎👊🏻🔥
@strictlydiecast785 Thanks bro👊,I do remember trying to explain, but it sooo hard through text😆 Practice with this stuff bro and you'll be able to wrap round thing's without body line's and rounded edges👍
@strictlydiecast785 I was gonna send you guys a pic of what I saw on the pegs figuring I missed it,but as I was walking away I looked up top and sure enough that single accord was up there😳👍
@dalesexton89 The very best is mix up a little 2k and spray it through my airbrush, but I typically go with what's quicker and grab rattlecan stuff from duplicolor 1k high gloss.
@dalesexton89 Are you in the U.S.? If so the rattlecan stuff I suggested is available at autoparts store's. Another decent rattlecan option is a high gloss glaze.
