Our content focuses on the items that we enjoy using. All of us tend to go through an exhausting amount of research prior to making a purchase. Sometimes we narrow the field down to a single item but on many occasions, the competition is just too good to overlook. Thankfully all of our favorite shopping destinations have a return policy. So, whether we buy from Amazon or Zappos, from Apple's to Zelda and everything in between, we will share our honest opinions with you. Join us to find out what we keep and what goes Back'n the Box.
I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve been using it year. Because it’s been a month I would try returning it. Or some might say, order a new one from Amazon and then return the defective unit. I would not advocate for this but it seems to be a manufacturing defect. Thanks for watching.
In either the x or s mode wired connection is not supported. In the middle (off) the controller will work as a Xbox controller would. It’s basically sets it to bypass. Thanks for watching.

There are a lot of different options for purchasing. To find the cheapest option I usually go to AliExpress. Here is a link I found a.aliexpress.com/_mqWt7b0 But really look around for the best deal when you buy. These things change in price from moment to moment. Thanks for watching!
A question please , I would like to clarify this: When you connect the D9 to your tablet (android if you have chance, or at least your ios feedback) XCLOUD - R1 Mode + Home (Xbox Mode) - O Mode + Home (PS4 Mode) And check if in both cases the D9 Rumbles or not...could you check It please ??? Also, you said that you use PS remote play app, the Official, in (D9 in PS4 Mode ) in this case does the D9 Rumble? Or, does the tablet /phone Rumble?? I know that with Chiaki (Chiaki Up in PlayStore ) and PsPlay app , have Rumble support, but the tablet or phone IS which Rumbles and not the controller (better then nothing) If you can also confirm me this in Ps Remote Play App would be great as well, I appreciate your invaluable support man, wishing your answer !!
Unfortunately rumble is not supported in 3rd party apps at this time. I have only checked iOS but from what I read the same is true for android. This is the case with PS remote play. There are some native iOS games that have rumble. A large ipad with the sound turned up does allow you to feel the sound, but it definitely not a rumble feedback experience. Thanks for watching.
The device is interesting, I myself use a D8+tab s7. But I believe that holding a large tablet with your hands during long gaming sessions will be uncomfortable. A stand is needed, at which the sense of D9 escapes me
The large iPad Pro is too heavy for extend game play. A neat novelty but not a long term solution. I find an IPad 9.7 inch air to be alright to hold, you just have to find the right area to grab the ipad with the grip. I find getting the top of the ipad screen to be closer to top of the controller to be more comfortable. I think you want your hands to be at least in the middle of the ipad or device you are using, not the grip itself. Thanks for watching.
I don’t have a link as the page I bought from is no longer active. I did buy from AliExpress and there are a lot of posts for it, some as low as $25. If you dont want to deal with aliexpress Amazon has a listing for $49. Thanks for watching.
I have those, they can connect via bluetooth and work on Windows (I haven't tested the motion control), but the button mapping is different for PC games than for Android/Switch games. To play on an emulator where you can remap all inputs it's going to be fine, but for many PC games the different button mapping will be an issue (I heard there exists some software that allows you to remap the input of any controller, but I haven't tried)
I was thinking the same thing the other day about a clip for a phone. If it folded the phone all the way over it would be like a clam shell. Though a bit thick with controller and phone stacked. Thanks for watching.
@@BackNTheBox Just got mine today and was surprised i could still play Ocarina of Time even though it's 3D. While it doesn't have an analog stick, it's definitely playable!
These controllers will connect to iOS for use in Delta. I’ve been using the Lite with Delta. I paired the switch mode to my iPad and the xinput to my phone. If n64 is what you really want to play on delta I would recommend the Lite 2 since it has analog sticks.
I think it's really sweet the SE controller had as many features as it does. Not only does it have motion detection and that pad thing on the back, but I never would've thought the L3 and R3 buttons would've worked out honestly. If anything, this could also probably be a 3rd party fighting game controller for anyone with the classic Fatal Fury games on the switch ...and it makes way more sense build wise than whatever Sony was doing with the PS5 Access Controller Good video overall! Definitely helped me pick my purchase!
I am glad the video helped you. Let us know what your thoughts are on the controller. I carry my Lite controller everyday with me. Thanks for watching.
How's the rumble than TNS 1201 is it still rough rumble? I heard Dobe said in ads have hall effect so its better nexigo with hall effect then. Althogh they have similar design Nexigo and Dobe eggshell II
The motor is a small motor but on my controller the rumble is not rough or noisy. It’s not as nice as the RetroFlag grip controller with its larger rumbles but it is better than the other smaller rumble motor controllers I have.
@@BackNTheBox ok thanks, hope there is no drift issue with this new one. In my country they only sell Dobe gripcon & Nitrodeck is too expensive, no other brand and we cannot buy from overseas too. Mostly is Bluetooth version.
Great video I already own a D8 was thinking about gettin a D9 just cuz it looks like a ps5 controller I will make my purchase thanks to ur excellent review
Thank you for watching, and I’m glad you found it helpful. Please report back after you receive and try it out yourself. I’d be interested in hearing not only your thoughts on the d9 but how it compares to the d8.
Hold the home button for a longer time. It take more time then you would think to turn it off. Also it will auto shutdown after an extended period time after it looses connection.
I think going bigger already defeats the purpose. I mean at that size, just have it on a stand and use a dual sense. I have a D9 myself, and I'm using an old samsung 8 inch tablet on it which is probably the sweet spot
Yes even better is playing it on a mac with PS5 controller. You will kill the immersion in the name of portability. AAA games in such a small screen is strict no no for me.
It’s a 400mAh battery, so I get about 4 hours of play before charging. It charges fast which is good. I wish that it held a longer charge. The controller also has a long wait period to shutdown after losing connection to the paired device, which doesn’t help the battery life.
I love my Portal and tend to use my wired Turtle Beach headset which works perfectly. I've never had anything other than minor hiccups when streaming on the Portal, the screen while not 4k or OLED the quality is stunning and having the Dualsense features is great to have portably. The battery is a bit funny but you can always alter the intensity of your Dualsense to increase the roughly 7 hour battery it also utilises the PlayStation PULSE Elites, PlayStation Link Technology so it's easy to pair too.
@@ThisIsBrianK_ I regrettably paid £40 over asking but realistically I'd do it again, what a great piece of kit, it runs so much better than you'd believe.
I have enjoyed my Backbone controller for PS streaming and because it’s agnostic I can use it for iOS or other services as well. The portal is interesting in that the controller itself is a great replica of the Dualsense but I don’t know if it’s $200 interesting. This video made me still feel good about the backbone controller I have.
It's definitely worth it, it's compatibility with the PlayStation alone is lightning fast and as you said replicating the Dualsense gives you that true gaming experience.
I picked the rgb30 as my first handheld and I'm excited about discovering the world of retro devices with this peculiar one. Next one will maybe be gr353V for vertical and android experiences.
Check out my other video RetroFlag Super Pack Review ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fueGuCzPF6s.html This video shows the adapter that works with Xbox controller. Thanks for watching.
Any time I've had trouble with the screen after an update, I just hit the reset button up top to reboot the system. It won't play God of War well but the number of PSP games it actually can play is more impressive than it lets on. With a little aspect ratio adjustment you can fill a bit more of the screen without stretching things too oddly. Either way, the 720p screen keeps things detailed.
This kinda looks like Nexigo's Gripcon Dock. It's almost like manufacturers all use the same suppliers 😂 (which you pointed out in your More Info). Thanks for the review.
Yeah I got this thing quite a few months ago from AliExpress and was surprised it took so long to get picked up and rebranded. Thanks for the comment and watching.
.... I Am Lovin My RGB30 .... Being Able To Play Ms Pac Macn ( Speed Hack ) Version Is An AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied Past From My Blast And I Can Connect To My TV So Now I Wont Have To Buy An Arcade 1Up ....
It will not wake the Switch because it’s powered through the usb connection. I don’t find it really an issue as it’s a grip case controller and therefore it’s easy to use the Nintendo Switch’s own power button.
....H E L P .... I Updated The System Using RETRO CAME CORPS Guide And Now All Games Have No Sound . Even The Games I'd Been Playing That Previously Had Sound Now Have No Sound At All
The only thing I can think of is to reinstall a fresh version of Jelos. I had issue with an over the air update and had to download install jelos manually. I hope you have been able to correct this issue and enjoy the device.
