Where did you get the replacement joystick cap? Was wondering which one you used for this. Looks like a good size

The joystick tops are from a SteelSeries Nimbus. It was an old mfi controller for iOS devices. Thanks for watching.

Can you do a mod on this controller regarding the metal hinges? I was wondering if there's a workaround regarding the scratches it makes on the sides of Switch. Like maybe a plumbers or painters tape will do the job?

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve been using it year. Because it’s been a month I would try returning it. Or some might say, order a new one from Amazon and then return the defective unit. I would not advocate for this but it seems to be a manufacturing defect. Thanks for watching.

I have this control and now I have problems with it. When I connect it to the switch it doesn't work. It only moves the motors very slowly. But when I connect it to power, they work normally. I don't know what happened :(

Sounds like the issue could be with the usbc connection to or from the switch. There must be an issue with the power side of the connection point as it works when providing power. I would blow some compressed air on the switch usb port and the male usbc on the controller. Sorry to hear about your issue, I haven’t experienced this, so this help is just a guess from me.

I didn’t tear an Xbox controller apart but I would believe it would fit. If the shape of the peg that connects the joystick top matches then you should be good. The other thing to keep in mine is the height
