I love how basically every doctor has mentioned rose or remembered her all the way from 9 to 14 they all had a scene where they remembered her showing just how important she was
Feel kinda bad for Martha ngl, she tried so hard and this was all that happened between her and the dr: “Doctor, I love you!” “Martha, we’re in the middle of saving the world.” “Doctor, I love you!” “Ah… you don’t mean that, Martha. Come on!” “Doctor, I love you!” “Her name was Rose.” “Doctor, I love you!” “Hm? What did you say?” “Doctor, it’s literally so obvious I love you. Do you love me back?” “Martha, we have to figure this out later, the world is ending.” “We’ve finished saving the world, Doctor.” “Ah, we’ve never finished saving the world! Let’s go find another world to save!”
The Doctor and jack reuniting was beautiful. Its both sad and happy to see cursed veterans knowing their friend was safe, but can't ever see them again.
I felt like kinda forced the "in love" element after Rose left. When Rose told him she loved him on the beach, my first reaction wasn't that she loved him romantically. I always thought the 9th Dr loved her like a spouse and the 10th Dr loved her as a friend. During the Fireplace episode, 10 was going to give her and the TARDIS up and even kinda showed excitement for living with Reinette. In the Satan's Pit episode, Rose mentions that they should live together and he basically said, "no". There was no pleasure in them living together, even if the TARDIS was lost. So when people started shipping them, I was so confused.
I honestly felt like they shoe-horned that in after Rose left. When Rose told him she loved him on the beach, my first reaction wasn't that she loved him romantically. I always thought the 9th Dr loved her and the 10th Dr loved her as a friend. During the Fireplace episode, 10 was going to give her and the TARDIS up and even kinda showed excitement for living with Reinette. the doctor had so much lovers but i think rose is the definitive lover,his/her true soulmate, the only one he keep mention so many times so many years later. i also think about the moment when eleven ask at the tardis voice to look like a person he likes and and the first person the tardis thought of was rose, not river or anybody else, just rose
I don't think even the Doctor would agree with you. Yes, they've had many people that they loved, both romantically and platonically. But I wouldn't say there's one person they loved MOST. If there is an 'one and only love', that would be the TARDIS anyway. Otherwise we could just go on and on, for example, the Doctor kept the pictures of Susan and River on his desk, and not anyone else. Again, everyone has been equally important.
People hate on Tenth doctor and Rose's closeness and relationship. But he fell for her because you think how long he was depressed as the ninth doctor. Probably travelled alone for a good hundred years. After Time War he felt he had to be alone because he was a dangerous war criminal but rose made him see he was a good perso.
God I miss Rose, Tenant, Donna, and Jack. I liked the 11th Doctor and what little I saw of the 12th, but my love for Doctor Who kinda died after the whole Rose storyline ended and Tenant regenerated. At least it ended beautifully and wrapped up all those storylines.
This is why I also love Donna, no matter pain or grief the doctor is going through Donna was there to comfort him, help him through it like a true friend have a laugh and move on to the next adventure
It will always be Rose and The Doctor for me. To me their love came naturally and of she was like immortal or didn't age he woulve chosen her in a heart beat. Whereas, for River it was something that (seemed to me) River really had to push until finally the Doctor syarted liking her from...? ANWYAYS, I think his true pive has always been Rose. 🌹❤
David and Billy really should have been given a spin off where the deleted scene of a piece of Tardis is canonized and the first half of season one is accepting Meta-Crisis Doctor as more than just a replacement for her original Doctor.
@@Courageous91there's rhat word again "bigot" anyone who doesn't agree with you has to be a bigot eh? Just shut the fuckety up up up eh? There's a good genetic fuck up
tbh i dont feel bad for martha...she didnt say much and i think it made things worse for doctor's need to be distracted about rose. plus whats a companion if she's not clever.....martha was book smart, torchwood would have been better and i liked her appearances on that. she actually seemed more likable somehow..?
Season one of NuWho is the most underrated of all the seasons because it managed to carry out one of the best season-wide twists of all, the meaning of Bad Wolf.
