The best way to get your ph levels back to normal is to get a douche bottle, fill it clear up with warm water and put in about 2 Tbsp of plain Stonyfield Organic probiotic yogurt. Shake it up really well and douche. Also, you should obviously limit sugar intake. If you’re desperate, do a keto diet! That works like a charm. To get the itching to go away on the outside, you can always wipe with apple cider vinegar, but I’d always make sure to put something probiotic on it afterward. But apple cider vinegar really does give immediate relief. It’s just that the infection will come back stronger if you don’t use probiotics. The key is to practically bathe in probiotics!

I had BV on and off for a period of over a year, long in each time i had it- and the first time I had it I was douching all the time unsure initially what it was but just with water and I never knew and always thought or read up that it's bad- but it relieves me to know water isn't as harsh as it's made out to be- there was times it was so bad and in my mentality it's better to wash out (if needed) though the vagina is meant to be self cleaning the fact of the matter at that time was it was not self cleaning and there was not a good presence there so it wouldn't do more harm to take away the more multitudes of it by douching with water :) random thought/remember but wanted to share thank you so much and this is the most informative helpful video I have ever seen I love the way you have explained for us thank you :) I wish us all good health and Balance
Hello, a few days ago my partner put his dirty fingers inside my vagina and from then on my underwear and vagina smells like old urine, my discharge looks normal tho, any tips? 😢
I've had the same thing happen and I feel (by own experience) it does not stop an infection IF it is present but I find the immediate bacteria or dirt especially in there it's helped by washing out with water using a douche (water only) if you're super worried about it or still smell that strongly and make sure to take ph aligning supplements or suppositories if really needed, not stress to much but keep tabs and don't be too invasive :) the first key i would say is hydration REALLY makes a difference too (having lots of water) and just have only clean things around that area including fabrics- and make sure after shower or urinating it's fully dry :) hope this helps sorry for my typing long :)
