I answer 911 calls and dispatch first responders on the radio for a living and the principle of “don’t try to help” applies there as well. Pretty simple reasoning when you think about it. It all comes down to accountability. If we’re going to be held accountable for something, we’d rather not have someone making changes/mistakes/decisions on our behalf and then leaving us to answer for them later down the road. Especially when you work somewhere kind of chaotic like a film set or a dispatch center. I’ve seen the same principle apply even in hospital settings and on the music scene. Again, for the same reasons - liability, accountability, and MONEY 😮💨 Lol
Bro i really enjoyed how undetectable this makeup looks and i really feel like all those mini pallets are gonna last a lifetime this looks good for any occasion or if you wanna plan to dress modestly and not be ostentatious. Thankyou for creating this makeup tutorial!
I could really use some products suggestions for beginners. Don't wanna spend too much money right at the start you know. Just wanna try it as a hobby. Anyone here knows good, cheaper products that are available in Germany? Something you can wear outside for a day and that works well with water based skincare? I cannot not wear sunscreen underneath 😂
Do you like to mix it with 99% alcohol or another percentage? I ask because with traditional alcohol palettes 99% is necessary but since this is a more versatile formula I was curious what alcohol percentage works best with it?
Hi! I’m a makeup artist based out of Boston, MA. I love your channel, thanks for sharing all these tips! I noticed in this video you didn’t mention anything about skin prep. What are your suggestions for that?Would you treat it similarly to any other makeup client (bridal/special event) or do you have any tips specific to working with talent on set? Thanks!
Could you use this as an under eye concealer or do you believe it’s too thick or could crease? How does it work with layering with other products? Definitely going to buy
How did I just find your channel? You have such amazing videos and I love the concept of doing a lot with the tiniest amount of makeup. Although, "makeup" is too less of a word for what you do, this is rather "the art of painting people" because you're literally like an oil painter with your multiple colour palettes. Would like to see more videos of natural-looking no-makeup makeup. I was always curious how they do the makeup in period dramas because it looks so flawless and you literally can't detect any product even in closeup shots. There's a bunch of videos of no-makeup makeup tutorials out there, and they all actually use tons of makeup and by the end they don't even look like themselves anymore :)).
I did NOT know makeup could look *that* natural. Actual makeup artists understand colour theory, and I think I'm colour blind next to these incredible fine artists😵💫
Hi Timothy! I'm so sorry this wasn't helpful to you. My best tips for breaking into tv/film sets as a makeup artist are: 1. Have a portfolio, somewhere people can see your work and see what you can do. 2. Reach out to film schools and filmmakers to see if they need a makeup artist for an upcoming project. 3. Network with make-up artists that are at your level and a little bit above. 4. Build your rate and your experience. ru-vid.comfAMVTM7Jj6w
Omg I know that this is an older video, but this information! I always thought myself that blending a color corrector outside of the area you need it would be a wrong usage, but now I see someone actually saying it. I love the information.
