I've got the same slim turtle model and love it. It's size is perfect for my medium 7.25 inch wrist so can understand the tortoise is probably a little better fit for you. I'm looking to get a USeiko Z199 bracelet as think its probably a better match. Great watch tho and a good Black Bay alternative
Great review. At first glance, I found this watch attractive, considering the stealth-like dark look, but taking a closer look (thanks to your review), the crownguard is a big eyesore and the case looks too "beefy" for my taste.
Для детей подойдут F-91/105, часы 40мм оптимальный размер на мужскую руку. Небольшое уменьшение огромных G-Shock не делает их часами для мальчиков и девочек.
Found this video in June 2024 for my new monochrome. That was the fix I needed! I added a half link from Uncle Seiko, swapped it to the 6 side and voila!
Man you almost got the review perfect but that noise you should have just left it alone. I would have someone look at your stuff before you post it because that was almost a perfect review without hearing some weird ass noise
5610 is way better the strap thing? Im not intend to kept the same strap i will changeg for a metal strap carbono preference so there you go why i dont care a more softer..strap .
Thank you for this informative video. Yes, this watch is very affordable with Casio reliability but I remain in a dilemma about adding it to my collection.
Wow casio is a low quality watch!!! I mean really, people living in the developed nations are grossly overpaid. But nothing comes from the vacuum. All these must be at the cost of the hard-working extremely underpaid people of the developing and underdeveloped nations. But things will change over time, unjust and overly disbalanced situation cannot simply go on for ever.
Got both pepsi samurai with silicone band, and King samurai with SS bracelet, not so different but the SS bracelet gives a bit of a elegant and mature look for the watch Plus the king samurai looks like a rolex submariner 😅
I find them too heavy when worn on bracelet. Close to 200g. Not my thing anymore. But yes, they look great. I still have a Samurai in my collection that gets zero wrist time.
I want one but I’m too cheap and bought a Certina with an ETA Precidrive movement that is supposed to be accurate to about +-10 seconds a year. It was a model for women, 32mm, but it doesn’t look too bad on my wrist. Under US$200. If the Citizen were under US$1000 with a full Japan-style warranty I might buy one right away.
@@Ajisaurus I think it’s still bearable. Won’t look overly comical. If you want perfect fit without any overhangs, then perhaps look for a very small watch with sub-45mm L2L.
Appreciate you putting your impressions and thoughts into this video. I would have thought that you'd pick the Kano over the Kamasu. Lume shots missing?
Thanks for dropping by. I can’t remember what I picked during the time of this video. It was a while back. But I’d go for the Kamasu today mainly for its size and sapphire crystal. Lume shots should be found in their invidual review videos. If I remember correctly, they’re pretty decent, but just under Seiko levels.
Seiko have a beautiful dial, but Citizen is more originally. In 2024 Saphir glass (9 of harness) is just an obligation. Or a classic glass ( 5/5,5 hardness )very thick and doomed . BUT AVOID HARDLEX, (ANTI BREAK, OK BUT HARDNESS IS AROUND 4 MAXI 4,5) HARDLEX IS A SUGAR GLASS !
3hz is decent for a 500$ or less watch. But for +800$ (us$) 4hz is the rule. Citizen respect the contract, Seiko is out of rules. For 100$ Pagani have Turtle Homages at good level . TITANIUM is a positive thing too, Citizen trashe Seiko on all fronts. SEIKO must cost 400$ for be competitive.
Main reason for taking 5000U for me would be the metal housing. I have a GW5600BC (negative, bluetooth) as daily beater (150euro). However once I fell and ripped of the band making a minor damage/ scratch where the spring was torn out the lug hole. I was able to reattach the wristband but in back of my mind is always that it will fail at some point. What I can't understand why they haven't included bluetooth on the 5000U. But I guess that is some kind of marketing for differentiating it with the GMW5000, though I believe some would prefer the resin over metal.
The red one is the kamasu and the other one is the Mako three. I just got the mako three and it's a really beautiful watch that has great functionality. Its equipped with all the features of high end watches for 300 bux!
That's a lousy bike. Same for Pikes and Mobot. I owned all of these and realised that Brompton for trifold and CampLite 11 for bi-fold are the best after trying them.
