This event seems super impractical and unbalanced. Even most spenders dont have more than 10k units at any given time. So only Ultra whales can get max rewards. Even black Friday's biggest unit spend was 7.5k so... huh???
There is a reason why Kabam doing spring of sorrow next week because of omega event this week and happens to end on the 15th when the first fight for Spring of Sorrow begins lol
I think you should be rewarded for completing aw fights quicker, like how bg rewards you. Maybe not as strict but it would open the door for future champs to have more counters instead of one or two hard counters. If you don’t have a counter for a certain champ then your fight is just gonna take much longer than usual, but you can still beat them in one life instead of playing a perfect game and dying because you don’t have a counter. I know they probably benefit from people always needing the new champs to counter but I think it would 100% benefit the community and make some content more enjoyable for the people who don’t have the counters.
I just cannot get past red skull. everyone says agent venom is the most difficult fight on that path, for me, it's easy. But red skull merks me every time, without fail. No matter what villain champion I bring into the mix, his special always power drains me and I lose a considerable amount of health. onslaught, knull, venompool, it doesn't matter. I'm just going to have to go back and 100% act 5 and upgrade some of my champions a bit before getting cav.
creating new attackers to counter defenders does not work well. mostly because usually when a new champ is added, it takes kike a year for those champs to become common. if they bring out an onslaught counter right now. it would not matter untill 2025
onslaught is pretty much impossible to beat without a countrler or without being able to consistently dex their entire special. wich is really freaking hard. if i come across him in bg or war, im better of not taking the fight at all as i know i will die after he throws 1 or 2 specials
Imo it makes sense that Onslaught is more balanced by new champs. He comes with a lot of new mechanics and abilities that only a few champs are equipped against in retrospect. And now champs are being built to specifically conquer him. That's nothing new at all. If you look back, this was the case with many defensive champs. Nightcrawler, Iceman, Korg or Emma are a few examples.
but thats a problem as new champs dont become common untill like a year after. so to ahve onslaught be one of the best defenders for the next 10 months is painful
I'm wondering what happens with me. As I have beaten act 7 I just need the final rank 4 6 star which I should be getting soon so I'll become paragon mid way through the event so what happens then?
Yeah, stretching out 5 seconds of info into 10 minutes can be pretty painful sometimes. I get why he does it, but it sure does equate to a massive amount of waffling.
Fighting against defenders that have a single counter, or very few counters is not fun to me....... Sure KABAM thinks that gets us to buy more crystals and grind more content for said counter, but not me suckers.
I really don't like this pay to win politic. And kabam is more and more aggressive in this way. And that made me to pe a free to play player, after spending thousands euros on this game.
You could think of it as a fart in a room which would be a negative mindset or put a positive spin on it. They release hard defenders first to get players to think outside of the box and use existing champs to counter which in turn makes you a better player, that way when a hard counter comes out it makes it that much easier to do. All mindset people can whine and complain about something being hard or, take a moment give it some thought and figure it out. The latter being more rewarding in the long run.
What's funny is just a day or so ago if I remember in discord they said update would be pushed back from Monday because they're experiencing problems and when Monday came it was in the play store I was so confused.
Edit : What's the Point of the post if doens't change anything and just say what we already know? I wish i had Maestro even as a 4* Just to torture realm of legends, He looks Fun and his design is incredible
I have him as 7* and he is a menace. Wins me most of fights in BG just by being there. I dont use him on offence though, but if i ever awake him, id propably do
They changed the structure going forward to shoot for 1 overhaul every Saga or so. The next overhaul is Superior Iron Man, and I think the buff is coming in July
I use a 14pro and it’s happening with me as well as on my iPad 6th gen both on the latest IOS. It started immediately after the latest update. It’s not our devices that are the issue, it’s Kabam!
