I gotta politely disagree with you here Rich. The whole point of the promo 'bonus' was for community that was watching the stream. It's no different than members needing to be *in* the stream to win a 6 or 7 star champion - only this was an added bonus for everyone who was watching the stream. They also acknowledged that they would do it again in another time zone for people who weren't able to watch the stream. Main thing being, that this 'bonus' is hardly game breaking or anything. It's just 3 of a crystal that we all get once a week anyways for logging into the game store. Absolutely no one is progressing higher, further, faster by these.

It doesn't, since the times you know to go there when you're awake or finish work have to be in the bounds of when costco is open and the promotion is running. You cant just go there when you feel like it and expect everything to align for you to get the incentive...

@@hallowedground4101 Sometimes the free samples/promo handouts are under similar time constraints. Such as first come first serve, or only for the first hour the store is open. The stream was live for several hours and the promo code was only open for 30 minutes starting from when the stream was ending. Same situation.

Ain't nobody forcing you. They have two platforms they use for outreach to disclose information to their playerbase. It's the same with literally every other game. As he said phasmaphobia and strike force, but even stuff like fighting games and mmos have Twitter posts, discord posts, or live streams to show off new characters and updates. They're all free services, and it takes like 30 seconds to set up an account if you don't have one. You're not subscribing, you're following the updates. You don't have to if you don't wanna but it's how everyone else does it. It's really sad seeing everyone in our community just bitch and whine and moan about every little thing Kabam does. I'm not trying to ride kabam or nothing, but they do just fine. People like you need to chill out.

Yeah no other games hang incentives over their player-bases' heads to get traction on social media. Idk where Rich is getting that one. Edit: actually they do, but they usually have a button in game that just takes you to the page and gives you the rewards instantly, regardless of how or even _if_ you interact with the site.

The stream was announced days before, you choosed to not to watch it. Which is totally fine and up to you which reason you ever had. But crying afterwards about a minor gift for thus who watched it, is just weird. Mid may will be the next stream and you will probably not engage there also. BTW there will be eventually promo codes

BG grind is literally tiring after reaching to vib 2 i have to give up bcz lot of the matchmaking is takin me to a high ranked players who have good defence and offence which makes vib1 unachievable with my current roaster. needless to say i somehow reacched vib1 last season but totally have to give up this time.

9 AM PT was the time scheduled and it's 11.30 PM in India. Its hard to follow the stream that late and those things being available only for 30 minutes is a bit harsh. Hope Kabam don't repeat this again.

Kabam streams are the furthest from engaging. Jax as much as I love him can “play favorites.” I can only sit in a livestream where I’m ignored more than once for so long. Then they don’t really seem to care when the same people are continuously winning 6 and 7 star giveaways. People are frustrated rightfully so, Kabam is simply ignoring one half of its player base and just doesn’t care. I’m not complaining but for you all to act like everyone is just blowing it out of proportion is blasphemous. Simple as that, we all have lives. It’s crazy they expect us to drop everything and come watch a livestream when the code is the last thing they announce. People work, have children, take care of loved ones, so on and so forth. To say “sucks to suck” or “should’ve been there” is fucking lunacy..

Hoyoverse gives out 3 promos every time the do a patch announcement (about 1 a month) they always have a 24 hour expiry. In my honest opinion that should be standard.
