Absolutely great playing. But I hope you don't mind this correction (btw EVERYBODY - 99% - gets this wrong). Bar 108 (1:40): Slash doesn't play the 15th on the high E string. He plays the 12th on the G string. It is 12G 13B 13B, 14G 13B 12G 13B 13B, [12G] 14G 13B | (Bar 109) 15E Full etc. And he adds 12G just before 14G 13B and 15E full. I've put that extra note between square brackets [ ].
just learning this right now, nearly got the sound. It's a mesmerizing solo to play, your in your own world. Love the hammer-on's in the middle, it could have been in the original the part , must be great to this good to just add on where you like, GREAT STUFF THAT MAN, MIGHT JUST HAVE TO FOLLOW YOU...
Jesus Christ... I've been playing this wrong for 30 godamn years. I used to jump up to the 12th fret where you slide up on the 7th. Soooo much smoother. And for some ungodly reason, I would twist up my fingers at the 12-15 range instead of up to the 17/19. But I literally learned it listening to an old record and constantly spinning it backwards. The whole thing is very smooth. Kudos...
I've watched several videos of this solo so far and yours is nearly pitch perfect (nothing is absolutely perfect lol) color me impressed. Especially with the spot on bends. Great job brother 👏 👍 🙌
Its been a decade since i first saw ur solo cover. and finally u made a lesson in here in yt. Its still the best solo in yt. Can u share ur backing track too 😅😅😅
Bravo! Very nice cover! I especially loved that solo. Sounded pretty close to the record for playing it on a guitar. I'm fairly certain Richard Wright recorded that solo on the keyboards. 👍🤘🤘 I also really dig how your guitar changes colors and instantly transforms from a strat to a Les Paul while you play. I've never owned a guitar that does that.
God, how long ago it was! The first time I heard this was in 1970! 53 years ago! Боже, как же это было давно! Первый раз услышал это в 1970 году! 53 года назад! Take a look, you won’t regret it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xbhCPt6PZIU.html
