Lesson with tabs for the solo from Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.
This is not exactly like the original. 15 years ago i tried to cover this great solo, and i just played it like i heard it in my head - Not note for note. You can find it here: • Pink Floyd - Comfortab...
Some people have told me that they liked that version and have requested a lesson. Let me know if i should also make a more original lesson

This is that solo that you get to see how a person naturally likes to phrase and attack notes on the guitar. I like this version a lot. Very tight.

I’m not sure what he uses but the Gilmour sound is a Big Muff style fuzz or a similar distortion/crunch pedal with a compressor, delay and reverb for sustain. In this video I hear a noise gate to clean up those held notes. Then a chorus or phaser to your liking. Gilmours changed it so many times over the years based on noise/feedback vs tone. At one point he used active pickups and a RAT pedal. A lot of the tone comes from how hard and quick he attacks notes followed by legato phrases.
