I’m not sure but I remember when I was pregnant I read that too much ginger can unsettle the stomach so I would say reduce the amount of ginger you use so it’s not as strong. But of course make sure you ask your midwife/doctor first ✨
Couldn't agree with this more; in addition to drinking lots of water and eating less heavy, less starchy foods and drinking more fruits and vegetables. Also, if you have heavier periods, always bring a spare knickers (granny panties) or period panties and skirts for emergencies; nobody wants to be caught off guard nd unprepared. We women have so much to tend to in addition to pickney and men ughh x
you look great sis! this video was very helpful and encouraging. I love learning about makeup and skin care for women of color. Pray for me with the nails though thats the hardest one for me lol. Thank you!

Sis we all need to be 2023 warriors like never before, I have put psalm 119.164 on my alarm 7 times per day to worship much less pray!!!! Or have I missed the point of your message
Lool this was inspired by a viral meme going around online at the moment. Of course we need to be prayer warriors everyday and always! This was a joke 😆
DIY is very important when you're on a budget . For skincare, I recommend checking out dermatologist/ cosmetic chemist channels for skincare advice: Glow by Ramon (cosmetic chemist), Dr.Shereene Idriss, Dr.Sam Ellis, Dr.Alexis Stephens, April Basi (cosmetic chemist)
we do a lot of the same things lol, I have my own nail lamp, I nolonger wear foundation (I stopped make up for a few years) just use concealer now and I’m subscribed to dermatica for my skin. I pay yearly and tbh it saves me money because I don’t buy a bunch of skincare Like i used to which may or may not even work so it’s a waste for me. Custom skincare just makes more sense. I’ll look into mandelic acid tbh for my armpits and maybe knees and elbows.
I was just thinking about all this recently because ALOT of the beauty stuff on here is definitely unrelatable. My nails, hair and eyebrows need to be done atm but doing it all myself is draining sometimes but then paying for all this stuff can be wayy too expensive.
Yess there are ways around it! One thing about the beauty industry is it thrives off of making people feel like they need loads of beauty products to get their desired ‘look’. When realistically it’s about finding products that you can afford to keep using and creating simple, effective routines 🤍
Hey, how much is one up of shea butter relative to the 500g shea butter- a quarter of the tub? Just trying to see how many batches a 500g tub could make. Thank you- ordering now :)
I know this is an older video, but I thought I would comment anyway. If length checks bother you they are certainly not necessary. As long as you continue to take good care of your hair you will reach your goal. All the extra stuff that you see in the natural hair community isn't necessary. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with the time-consuming wash days if that's what people want to do and enjoy. However, if it isn't enjoyable or desirable, it isn't necessary. Simply shampoo, condition, detangle, and style are enough. Personally, it takes me 1 - 1 1/2hr at most from shampoo to style and dry. My scalp is oily so I shampoo twice a week and my hair is rather long.

Thank youuu..I've been searching for a good body butter so ill be trying this for sure! How do you store it? Does it not melt or revert at certain temperatures?
I store it in a glass jar, the one shown in the video. It doesn’t melt easily only if the temperature of the room is very warm. Even then it doesn’t really melt or revert it’s just softer with maybe a little of the oil showing.
@@VernitaIvelina ok thank you! I did purchase the Mason jar to store mines in. But it went hard after around 30 minutes 😫 I kept it in my bathroom. I hoped it would have stayed fluffy like yours. Its still usable though.
