Just saw it today. I have to be honest, when the first teaser trailer came out I wasn’t interested in the slightest. BUT when I saw the first actual trailer, I was a little more intrigued. Then the reviews started rolling out “10” “10” “10” “best animated movie of 2024” “best animated movie of all time” etc. I HAD to see it. Wow! I was blown away. Not what I expected at all. Go see it! You won’t be disappointed. The trailers didn’t do this movie justice and didn’t give anything away, which I appreciated. 11 out of 10 for me! 😊
I've lived in Utah, 30 minutes from the great salt lake my entire life, and the only time I've been there is for a field trip in elementary school. And I own a boat. Nobody that lives here goes there for fun. There's a bunch of way better lakes/reservoirs for water recreation. The great salt lake makes for an amazing view when you're hiking our awesome mountains though!
Not a single model or further concept art or even a 3D fly through of Villains land but they say theyre ready to build? Not a chance. It’ll be at least 7 or 8 years and won’t trust any of their concept art anymore because of their Tiana Bayou Splash Mountain.
Thank you Steve for taking one for the team and I can now cross that off my list of places to visit. It is sad to see how much the lake level has dropped. Another 50 years and it will be a puddle.
Its interesting that you said that Universal is much better than WDW, or words to that effect. I've just returned home from a long holiday at WDW, and also went to Universal as part of my trip. I didn't manage to see all of it, yet what we did see just didn't match up to WDW for us. The atmosphere at WDW blew Universal away for us. Especially the linking areas e.g. the areas from the car parks to security and then on to the entrance of city walk. We actually thought we were lost & as if we were in an airport area rather than a theme park. Most of the staff we encountered seemed miserable too. Yes, they were polite. But not much more than that i.e. not particularly friendly or vaguely happy to be there. There was some exceptions to this though, who shone compared to the other staff. I'd be happy to give Universal another go. And perhaps I'm too used to how Disney do things, as I've visited DLP seven times over the last 16 years. As well as spending 4 weeks at WDW over the last few years. My initial impressions of Universal Studios though was that the atmosphere just cannot compare to Disney.
It’s a different vibe for sure! Primarily regarding Universal being better was around the immersive nature of the worlds they are creating. This was specifically in regards to the Wizarding World immersion we’ve seen in comparison to places like Pandora or Star Wars and while all great spaces I think the nod has to go to Wizarding Worlds. But both Disney and Universal overall are amazing!
@@TheNobleWay neither have I, but watch Disney’s Cool Runnings and you’ll appreciate the lengths the pay went to design Matterhorn. People often mistake the track as “olds, but the same track is similarly used on smoother coasters. DL attractions have had a lot touch ups and refinements due to local crowds and being a little more nimble to shut down rides compared to WDW.
And where do you think they will move the firework launch site? It can’t moved any more north due to the electrical substation. Your phase 2/hotel idea would also be too close to the firework storage facility by law.
You know, as great as events like Halloween horror nights are, sometimes you just gotta go out into a large field with grass under your feet and trees all around with a buttery grilled cheese in hand.
by the way , i would be staying at international drive, if its not too much, can you please advise if its ok to stay in this area. i planned to visit universal studios as well. thank you.
hai guys, i have watched almost about 30 videos for my first time visit to disney world. by far yours is the most enlightning and clear. thank you very much, wish you the best of days and future projects.
It's funny & convenient Disney brought back the idea of the villains land which no one gives a dam about when UNIVERSAL'S CLASSIC MONSTER LAND was announced. In my opinion I'm more hype for the classic monsters land at Universal!
I'm not saying that I hate Disney, I'm a fan but, Disney should come up with unique new ideas that would bring guest's back to the park that they lost due to their attendance rate instead of taking back an old idea after seeing the huge hype on Dark Universe. Although I'm more of a Universal type of Guy!
So the entire world will descend like locusts when this place opens, limiting it to one day isn't really going to do much. I no longer have interest in going during the opening unless it's more than 1 day in the package.
I love the ride was able to ride it in July …but I was worried about it breaking down when I was there so we did the 10am queue would have loved to ride it at night time cause the bayou looks amazing at night
Literally it will probably be close to a decade before disney makes their land. They are already too late. Edit...also, if disney won't even add Dr. Facilier on the new princess and the frog ride cause of the whole voodo thing....why even bother having a land based on your villains when you don't even add them to new rides when people are saying we want it.
Yes they did! It was super late whej they opened back up around midnight so we had time to go through them all - you should be good as long as there is a pocket of an hour where there is no rain!
The reason why Universal hasn’t done Sit Down type Restaurants is because at Universal, there’s just so much to walk around and do! So, it’s just not practical to have Sit Down Restaurants all over the place.
It was boring. Need some ride on haunted houses, need pitch black rooms to avoid seeing the scare three ppl in front of you, need more of meow wolf interactive scary vibe, with slides and more interaction than walk throughs.
I agree, if you ever seen Tobe Hooper's Fun House movie a sort of similar experience would be better of getting in a car and it goes through the house so the actors can come out at you periodically.
Hey Guys, I saw you in the death eaters area and took the pic with you. Interesting hearing your feedback from the same night I was there. I totally agree the scare zones were very underwhelming. I thought the swamp would be way better. The houses seem to totally depend on if timing is on your side. The house design is excellent, costumes/makeup/ actors were fantastic. I will say stay and scream is very much worth the additional cost. But, just standing in line for 2 hours just to save 2 hours didn’t make any sense to me. We took the time to hit a few rides, ate a bunch of HHN food, then got into the line around 445-450. We were in NY area right in front of Ghostbusters food stands. So all the way back. Choose quiet place first, then Insidious, then ghostbusters. Walked out at 6:14pm. Overall we loved the event, had a ton of fun, and got to tell you I appreciate all you do! Very successful Sat night!
Hey Jeffrey! It was awesome to meet you both! Yeah totally agree, houses were overall really great depending on if you get the timing right with scare actors - one of the houses they just changed the actors before we went in and they were all energized and awesome! Probably get tired by the end of the night. We haven’t tried the stay and scream yet so we’re wondering if it was worth it! Sounds like you had a blast - same here! Thanks for taking the time to talk to us - we love meeting new friends - stop and say hi anytime! 🙌🏼👍🏼👌🏼
