It does fit bikes with step through design. Worth noting it wouldn't work so well, as it's designed to have the attachment points lower down. We have seen parents use this to carry kids balance bikes, bromptons and more.
Hello, our Top Tube bags have a YKK Aquaguard zip running along the top. As much as the bag is manufactured with waterproof fabrics, we can't guarantee it to be watertight because of this.
I've seen length and depth dimensions on these packs, but no width dimension. I have a small laptop I'd like to put in this for commuting. I think it will fit vertically, but I'd like to put it in flat if possible. I'm pretty confident it will fit, but I'd sure like to be doubly sure.
We wouldn't recommend putting a laptop in a cylindrical dry-bag. We've seen it done before with smaller laptops but the pressure of a hard flat square shape in a harness designed for a cylinder will create pressure when tightened and warp the holster.
I laughed so hard for that little tv on wall scene. I just finished my 2 days trip and my camping were garbage. But I had so cool stories for my IG. That guy had same stuff 😀😀😀
I am somewhat new to cycling. I own a gravel bike and have been riding on pavement. I ended up on a loose gravel road. I felt nervous and bike was unsteady. Will it get easier the more I ride on gravel? Thanks
two weeks after i sent this i had a bad slip on really loose gravel and tore my arm to hell. reminder to be careful when leaning over on unfamiliar gravel :P
@@stevesmith1810 yh I don't really go too quick on the gravel,I travel long distances and feel like it's more the adventure, not to get to A-B as fast as possible
@@reeseprince8 i was on a quick 5 mile sprint ride and decided to take the gravel route home lol, it was a mistake...i usually do longer slower rides lol
Absolutely enjoying watching what you guys are doing, style is on point. Personally - would love to see some information about setups you guys are riding on, gear, clothing and other stuff you are bringing along for the journey. I believe it would be interesting and educational for many people.
Hi Restrap... I know this video is a couple of years old now, but I'm wondering if I can use the large bag with a Redshift stem? Wondering if anyone has had any problems???
I spoke at length with Eric from Redshift when we came to Sea Otter last year and apparently there is no issues with their products and added weight of bags. I am yet to try it but not heard anything negative, hope this helps! :)
Sounds like a good challenge, regardless of start point. With Leeds just under 400km from my house, my North race will pretty much end at your factory door. If i make it in 24 hours (brief Google check says 22 hours cycling), can i at least get a sticker? Extra context, I'm 54, overweight, and last years London to Brighton is the furthest I've ever ridden!
@@Restrapltd I'm trying to be green and cycle from my home in Somerset to the factory. Will get train home. Otherwise, I'll have to train/drive 400km to your factory, then cycle 400k north, then drive/ train 800k home again. Plus, I was only hoping on a sticker! 😜
@Restrapltd I'll do my best. I'm long overdue a daft but memorable self challenge! It'll be great if you do find a patch, I promise to sew it onto my canister bag 🤜🤛👍
Got mine last week. As a broader chest/backed chap I appreciate the sizing and adjustment, it doesn’t feel or look like a bra 😂 Had a DJI mini, controller and spare batteries in the main compartment fit nicely and no bounce. Question the phone pocket having a key strap/loop in it, will probably cut that out. If you cinch the load lifters down the the pull loops have a tendency to hit your head/helmet when you look left or right. 10/10 though, points are just personal nit picking.
As a valuables pocket over a phone pocket, it just totally depends on your usage! You might rather have keys and money in there and your phone somewhere else. We wanted it to fit phones because that will be the likely use for most.
I would like to buy one of these frame bags but I’m unsure whether I should get the 1.5l or 2l, because of size. Is the 49cm length provided on the website for the 2l version referring to the total length of the bag(straps included) or the length of the bottom panel of the bag itself? I have a canyon grizl cf sl 8 in size small.
Obviously June/July/August would be a somewhat easier time to try the challenge with the extra daylight hours and less chance of cold weather and icy roads. It may not, however, be quite so inspiring. Bravo!
I dunno ... some pretty stunning places in the North to inspire riders - usually verdant countryside bathed in peak Summer sun near a body of water of some kind. There's a reason The Lakes, Peaks and Dales are heaving with cyclists around that time!
