Probably a long shot but I built my all together and for some reason I can’t pedal, I can with an extreme amount of force but if you push it by hand the chain tights and the wheel locks any suggestions on what could be wrong? And can it still be used as a normal bike?

Thanks for the video .. The only problem I see with your setup is by using the provided spacer plate and modified to fit over the the shoulder on the slide ... is that the wedges are not locking the whole length of the dovetail in the tool holder if the tool is as low as it is in your video - Better to machine away the shoulder and use no spacer if you are not going back to the original setup - there is still 6mm tapped material on the slide which is enough

Excellent job! I made almost the exact same thing. The only differences are the plain ball bearings are pressed into an aluminum housing and the collet chuck shaft moves fore and aft in the bearings (don't have to do 2 things at once).

Nice kit, but the paint makes it crap! It chips and holds heat. Same kit unpainted on Ebay cheaper and better hardware.

It is very difficult to change pinless blades because they come off the bottom part, thanks for the video.

Your vid is one of the few suggesting greasing the clutch mechanism and using the self tapping screws on the tank and tensioner. Im guessing the folks who haven't taken those steps are the ones who have issues and leave the negative feedback. 🤔🙄 How's the engine been holding up for you, still working good after a couple of years?
