Well, unfortunately due to our time constraints, we only have an hour or less to gloss over the topic. Perhaps if it were a formal debate with no time constraint... that'd be better.
There were several translations before the 1611 KJV. As mentioned in our podcast, KJV is partly a translation of a translation. A good translation, great even! But not the most accurate. ESV is more accurate in that it is directly translated from the original Hebrew & Greek manuscripts.
Thank you sister! What a strong faith god was teaching u through the waiting period! We lose focus and faith so easily! Continued blessings on your lives !
Carol we are blessed hearing your story and thank you for your strength to share it with us. I have seen how you share your care with other people's children too. You are awesome!
Thank you for sharing I have an illness that is taking my body over and I trust in the lord so I pray everyday for a miracle and a pain free day or just a light pain day
I needed to hear you guys say it. I'm not surprised by the world mocking Christianity, either. I just simply pray for repentance, support the athletes that represent the USA, and watch the beautiful comradery displayed by teams and other competitors. Love you, guys!
Amen! What can a man give in exchange for his soul? What will it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. Your wealth is laid up in Heaven! Keep on touching people. Don’t focus on physical wealth.
Salvation starts with Baptism, which washes away the stain of original sin and any sins already committed. After Baptism, any sins committed have to be forgiven. Some Christians believe baptism is a "work" and it only represents a public declaration, or something like that. This is so wrong. Baptism is God's most beautiful gift. It makes us a child of God. It seals us with the Holy Spirit. It is necessary for salvation.
@@aussierob7177 I thought you were implying water baptism. However, baptism in the Spirit, then you'd be correct. It is why Jesus contrasted John's water baptism with the Spirit baptism he offered.
Hi there! I'm interest to hear your thoughts. Are you able to explain how it is false? Perhaps with a chapter & verse? Also, if it helps, this is only a short clip of a much longer video. You can watch it here to gain the full context: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LQ89-4496_8.htmlfeature=shared
We actually address this passage (Hebrews 6) in the full video. And we, like the Apostle Paul, are confident of this, that He who began the good work in us (our faith, Ephesians 2) will see it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). The keyword is "if" our faith is actually true genuine saving faith. Watch the full video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LQ89-4496_8.htmlfeature=shared
