In Part 1 of this controversial, hot topic episode, the Lift youth leaders talk about pride month, the sin of sexual immorality (in all of it's forms) from Old to New Testament, & how it is biblically condemned by our God & Savior, Jesus Christ.
We are aware that this episode may offend people. We stand on the Bible as our source of truth. Our goal is not hateful, but to spread the love & good news of the Gospel. If you are grieved by this message, we echo the same sentiment as the Apostle Paul when he said, "As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved into repenting." (2 Corinthians 7:9)
We aim to do what we have always done... to proclaim the excellencies of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9), to call out what the Bible defines as sinful, to call unbelievers to repentance & faith in the one & only Savior, Jesus Christ, & to do so in a spirit of gentleness, respect, love, & truth (1 Peter 3:15; John 4:24, 1 Corinthians 13:6).
