@@AHSCT-RUSSIA So it's not true what people on forums say? They say after HSCT as you have a new immune system you have to redo all vaccines like polio, tetanus etc
@@evaneoskowar8859 No, old vaccine memory will be in the body after transplantation Sincerely Yours, Denis A. Fedorenko MD, PhD, The A.A. Maximov Department of Hematology and Cellular Therapy, National Pirogov Medical Surgical Center
I highly recommend the Pirogov Hospital for HSCT for MS. It is ten years since I had successful HSCT for PPMS there and I remain in remission to date (2024).
My wife saw this video.and she had this treatment done by Dr Federenko jus over 5yrs ago now . Thank you Dr Federenko and team best eve decision your care was superb and still stable.
I'm 26 years old, I was diagnosed with MS the previous year. It was acute & out of no where.. Even till now in the my medical records MS is mentioned with a question mark (?) My doubt here is do I have MS and have to continue the medication and is it suggestive to take this treatment as mentioned in this video.... please respond
Dr. Federenko's treatment worked for me. It definitely stopped the MS and my mobility and balance have gotten much better. The only thing I regret is not having it a few years sooner. Great doctor, method, and medical team.
My wife was diagnosed with very agressive RRMS 7 years ago. As an oncology RN I had read many years ago about auto transplant as definitive treatment. After thorough research we decided to go to Moscow for the procedure. It was the best decision we ever made. My wife likely would be in a wheelchair or blind if we didn’t go. That was before the more effective treatments that are available now. In the US they wait for disease progression before transplant, which means increased disability. Dr Fedorinko advocates for the most effective therapy in the first line - before disability accumulates. This makes sense to me. My wife has been free of disease for over 7 years. Most of the time we forget that she ever had the disease. We recommend Moscow as highly as possible.
I'm 29 years old and still fully able to walk around all day long without any assistance, despite this, I've been having many symptoms of MS and most likely PPMS, I am just waiting on my MRI test results. Is there any data anywhere about how effective HSCT is for a younger person with PPMS who has not yet suffered any major disability?
The rate of MS stabilization and improvement for RRMS - 85-95%, for PPMS/SPMS - 65-75%. Early transplantation - is most effective. We suggest, that the best candidates for transplantation are relatively young patients with active inflammatory lesions of relatively short duration and rapidly progressive disease, but still low disability scores, resistant to conventional therapy. Cumulative incidence of disease progression was quite low both for RRMS and PrMS. After you would receive your MRI report (no images required - only report), proceed to complete questionnaire, describing you previous treatment and current functional status, in order to define whether HSCT is a meaningful and safe treatment option individually for you hsct-russia.com/application-for-treatment
In total, patient has to stay in the department for about 26-30 days to undergo a whole cycle of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The effectiveness of HSCT depends on MS variant, MS duration, and disability level, rate of progression, age. The rate of MS stabilization and improvement for RRMS - 85-95%, for PPMS/SPMS - 65-75%. Complete our questionnaire, describing you previous treatment and current functional status, to define whether HSCT is a meaningful and safe treatment option for you. Hi to anyone who finds this video. I am also Australian and had HSCT with Dr Fedorenko at AAMaximov Surgical Medical facility in Moscow Russia in Feb 2014. My MS is still in remission 10+ years since treatment. Highly recommend doing some online researching on HSCT. Dr Burt is offering HSCT at Scripps in California as well & Dr Ruiz at Clinic Ruiz in Puebla Mexico. All legit & reputable facilities. I have taken no toxic disease modifying drugs for MS since HSCT
For all those who like to compare commercial clinics with university hospitals) hsct-russia.com/protocol-comparison Everyone should do their own independent research to be confident in their own choice.
"There's nothing we can do for you." Maybe if we stopped making big pharma richer and actually cared about people, we would do these treatments that other countries have available for regular people. We live in a country where you have to go to the doctor for years, beg for an mri just to get a diagnosis, then be exposed to drugs that don't work for many people any better than sticking to a strict diet. We should not be proud of the job we have done with MS
My wife had a very very aggressive case of MS with an extremely high disease burden. I am an oncology certified nurse so was completely comfortable with the idea of an auto transplant. Megan wasn’t really keen on the idea at first but slowly came around. She’s now 7 years post transplant in Russia and she has No Evidence of Disease Activity since that time. Except for a little lingering fatigue and the occasional headache she leads a completely normal life free from the burdens of MS. Dr Fredorenko and the staff are wonderful. It was the best thing we ever did. I can’t encourage you enough to go! Just do it!
I had this treatment for MS 6 years ago in India. Truly the best decision I've ever made. If you have MS, you owe it to yourself to look into this treatment. The U.S. is years behind the rest of the world in accepting this treatment, and it's a real shame.
My wife had this treatment 5 yrs ago by Dr fedorenko and his amazing team! The treatment is truly life saving and she is stable and able to live a more normal life! Thanks again Dr Federenko,Anastasia and team! 🎉

I had HSCT in 2018 at Moscow, Russia. Thank you to Dr. Fedorenko and the wonderful team in that hospital. I have had two MRIs since then and no new lesions - MS was stopped. 😊
@@Jihadhasankoushik hello. I I’m doing alright; My muscles are weak, I have trouble walking, so I still use a walking cane. physical therapy is a must. I need to work on my endurance and keep my muscles alive! But my MS progression has been stopped! And that is so important, thanks to HSCT. 😃
@@OksanaWorking0243 did you had Primary progressive or was it RRMS ? Is your weakness increasing with time since HSCT or is it stopped and constant? Thx
I thank God every day for bringing me to you. Thank you all. Denis the Boss is alive in my heart as is the whole team. Room 224, September 2023.🙏🏻💪🏻🇷🇸🇨🇵🇷🇺
Hi Anastasia and Dr. F! Hopefully I will get to see you all again soon. For anybody who is interested, I got HSCT in July/August 2018 administered by Dr. Fedorenko at A.A. Maksimova in Moscow Russia. When I came back home I didn’t know what to expect, after a 6+ months my husband and close friends said that I was walking and talking better. I didn’t notice any changes… yet. I knew I needed to get an MRI to have definitive proof that this treatment really did halt the progression of my MS. On July 9, 2019 I got an MRI with Contrast. I was just reading the radiologist report it states "No new or enhancing lesions are identified” YEAH! It looks like HSCT halted the progression of my Multiple Sclerosis. 4 years after getting HSCT I got another MRI with Contrast on 9/30/2022. A comparison was done with my past MRIs. The radiologist report states: "Since 7/9/2019 MRI, no appreciable change in characteristic pattern of advanced supratentorial and infratentorial multiple sclerosis involvement. No new lesions, PML development or active demyelination." The scan of my neck was even better than I expected: ”Since the remote 2014 noncontrast comparison MRI, there has been marked improvement overall in multifocal demyelination in the visualized cord, particularly at the previously dominant right lateral C5-C6 focus, suggesting some of the changes may have been active at the time of the remote scan. No definite new lesions have developed in the interim, without any findings of active demyelination currently.” MARKED IMPROVEMENT?! I’ll take it! It took about a year but I did start to notice that symptoms decreased, like muscle spasms! Spasms in my feet day were a daily occurrence and they were painful, now I get a spasm once a month or less, they go away quickly and are not cripplingly painful. Also the brain fog seems to be gone, I don’t have to stop talking mid sentence and search for a word. I’ll probably have some symptoms for the rest of my life but I can deal with it, I’m hoping more symptoms will resolve themselves. HSCT may not be for you, it might not even work, but it my case it looks to have fixed some of the damage and stop the progression of M.S.
Can you use aHSCT for Vitiligo? The immune system attacks the pigments in the skin. Is it possible to use aHSCT to reset the immune system for vitiligo?
Unfortunately, HSCT is not suitable, simply it won’t help, Vitiligo is a local autoimmune process -- Sincerely Yours, Denis A. Fedorenko MD, PhD, The A.A. Maximov Department of Hematology and Cellular Therapy, National Pirogov Medical Surgical Center email: info@hsct-russia.com
