👍 0:52 instruction on the inner/plastic package: "Barely thread the middle manifold hose(yellow) to the male fitting of the injector. Do NOT thread to the point of depressing the Schrader core. Briefly crack open high side manifold valve to purge air out of the yellow hose. Then close high side manifold valve, and then quickly tighten yellow hose fitting to the injector."
I do not need another portable AC. I had a friend and his sons put in new central HVAC units a few days ago. Two Trane units. 3.5 ton and 3 ton 15.3 SEER2 Single Stage. The total cost was $14,600. 10 year part and labor warranty. The new central HVAC units are more efficient and quieter.
Sooo, you didn't get a hose either? lol I bought in January and it's put together this together. Commenting from So Cal🌴 ya know, where they don't care that the humidity is through the roof & triple digits all the time! ha ha Every single year the humidity is brutal! I was going to get a built-in swap cooler. But I didn't like the idea of a hole 8:47 🕳 the size of a window🪟 being cut into my home. And a door or window having be open. That's why I opted for this one with the wheels|portable. The sun is brutal in the bedroom. Anyway, kindly comment on which hose you bought. The size. Gratitude for your time and video! *Desert Life* 🐢🌴🦎🌴🌵🌴🏜🌴
I'm not connecting a water hose to this unit. We are using it inside the house and only for 3 hours during the high peak period. I just add more water as need from the top. This is an evaporative cooler so it will add more moisture to the house. High temperature and high humidity will be make it uncomfortable in the house so i tried to keep the humidity under 60%.
15:35 I found that you should open the top and remove the items that are there, and the tape holding the panels. Then you can remove the Styrofoam and pull the box off.
sadly only 2 degrees... It's probably because my bottom floor is 1500 sq ft and this unit is only rated for 550 sq ft. This unit will cool down a 550 sq ft room with no issue
I have this model, there is usually condensation on my floor underneath it. any idea why, and is it normal? What is the other round knob/.. is it the drain plug? because I can get it turn, but doesn't do anything.
I do not have any condensation issue with my unit. I also keep it on low setting though. The unit has two drain plugs (exterior and interior). If you look at the manual, the exterior drain plug is on the bottom left corner. The interior drain plug is at the bottom inside the freezer. You have to remove most of the frozen food inside the freeze to access the plug at the bottom.
Last year, I was walking my dog and my grandkids were with me and saw more than I cared for while walking through a well lite store parking lot with is the same ole, shaking and baking manner going on. I'm old school and those 2 dumb shits were lucky I had kids with me or they be running out naked and afraid. Least these 2 were in the dark place. Whether this was criminal, thats another story.
I mean this sincerely: unless you have reason to suspect that somebody is being actively harmed or coerced, move on. If you're unsure, take down the plate, description and vehicle description and move on, then call authorities. The vast majority of these situations have more to do with inability to get privacy in a more traditional space than illicit activity.
The smell was gone on the 2nd day. I used an air purifier to speed up the off gasing process of memory foam mattress. I have no complaint about the mattress. It is firm and there is edge support unlike other foam mattress. There was no issue with sleeping hot either. I guess bamboo and the air gaps under the top layers helped with dissipating heat while sleeping.
any ice cream? how does that freeze in there? I dont want rock hard but firm and scoopable. SO- where to put that - in the middle of the freezer? top too soft maybe.
For ice cream, I would keep in the middle or the bottom of the freezer. The top is fine but it will take a while to freeze. I have ice packs for my lunchbox on the top of the freezer for easy access but I noticed it took a bit longer to freeze them with the low setting. Remember, heat rises and cold stay stagnant at the bottom and middle of the freezer. The closer you are to the door, the warmer the temperature will be due to physics and you opening/closing the door of the freezer which caused heat to move into the freezer.
There's a light on my way to work where the arrows are red and you aren't supposed to turn but no one follows it. Someone did a right on red at it with a cop behind them and the cop didn't even pull them over lol
I'll admit, if traffic is light and the road's clear, I'll probably do the same thing. Recently I've noticed in places like Vietnam and some countries in Africa, there are zero traffic lights, signs, markings, I mean NOTHING, and everyone works together to get it done. All these lights and signs are too much in many cases. .
For more severe situations, wrap the vinegar soaked paper towel with saran wrap, zip lock, aluminum foil, or masking tape to minimize vinegar runoff and evaporation. The acetic acid in the vinegar will gently neutralize the calcium and 99% of stuck hoses will come off with this method.
Missus here: Good to know, thank you. Vinegar has not worked for me so far and I am only about 1/3 of the way thru hack-sawing a large brass attachment fitting. I will try this. We have very hard water!
In the future, make your connections and purge your lines/manifold with the system off. The reason is, if the system is undercharged then the low side pressure might be in a vacuum while the system is running and making a connection to the low side will inject air. If the system is off for 5 minutes, both high and low side pressure will be above atmospheric pressure and the high side pressure won't be extremely high like it is while running. Then once you've purged your lines, turn the unit on in cool mode and proceed with injecting the goo.
I used cleaning vinegar for a half hour. It didnt work. So im trying it again with the paper towel even more soaked. Im sure it works for some but depending on the build up.. I may be out of luck.
Does your blue compressor light come on for a while then shut off for a while? I got mine yesterday and that's what it's doing. Frigidaire claims it's supposed to, if temperature is right, to keep compressor from running.
Green light = the freezer is on. Blue light = the compressor is on. The compressor should not be running if the freezer reached the set temperature. It's the same concept with your house air conditioner. The thermostat will turn the AC off when inside temperature reached the number you set on the thermostat.
Hello there mate, nice clip! Is it okay to feature it in one of our videos? You'll be credited with a link in the video's description and a watermark on the screen Thank you in advance :)
