I have actually learned a bit about this by mixing my own makeup colors. I'd recommend trying it out for people who want to understand chroma a bit better.
Yesterday i tried to paint for the first time with an acrylic paint set that was atleast 8 years old the paint quality was very bad and i was also using a dollar tree canvas 😅
Essentially the intensity of colour. The hue or colour that initially comes out of s tube of paint is at maximum chroma for that colour. Chroma changes across the surface of objects. This is may help you to get started.....
It would be a great help if you would explain WHY you place a particular warm or cool color on a particular facial surface. It will allow a temperature concept to transfer to other portrait projects and to help with color/value temperature experimentation. Thank you. Sincerely.
Any tips for skin colour for acrylic? I'm on to that srafe with my painting. I have a lot of trouble with consistency with the colour, especially when I don't hget back tithe painting for a few days. Ive really struggled with depth and realism. That's probably the biggest problem. Right now iblve a relatively flat looking skin to who I'm painting.
