I dont think a camera is injected.. i thing the governmant has found a way to use freaking to hijack the brains visual cortex.. just like how the NSA used to hijack video signals from monitors by scanning low level emfs from monitor cables..
I ENJOYED BOTH MOVIES,ENTERTAINING, AS WELL INFORMATIVE. THE FIRST ONE WAS A ILLISTRATION OF A GROUP OF HIGHLY INTELLIGENT SCHOLARS,WHO WERE LED DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE.THE SECOND WAS A DEMONSTRATION OF HOW TWISTED YOUNG AND OLD PEOPLE CAN BE IN REGARDS TO RELIGION AND BELIEFS,THEY BOTH HAD SOMETHING TO SAY,GOOD JOB, WELL DONE
wait so in this show the stack carries all the memories of a person, but if the stack is implanted into a person after they turn 1, wouldn't that mean that their original body has a functioning brain, so does the stack simply copy everything in the brain, but by that logic, wouldn't the stack simply be a clone of the persons memories, which in that case, the original consciousness of the person dies or stay with the body they were born with?
Season 3 of The Walking Dead was the show at it's peak. Rick was way better when he was a heartless killer at the start of the season and now he is just a coward half the time. Every time he holds back the group suffers from it. Hershel is definitely the better doctor, he seemed to know a little more about medicine than Doc and Hershel can even do light surgery. But Doc could probably win in a fight against Hershel.
This feels like ot takes place in the universe as idiocracy. Someone between current day and president comanchon earth launched rich people into space.
I was a little slow to Warm up to Avenue 5 but I saw a bunch of clips on RU-vid and found it to be hilarious. I bought both seasons and binge it every few months. The characters are insane!!!
I can summarize it in a few words. They killed the show. Season one was great. Everything the atmosphere the characters everything was great they dropped the ball in season 2 they could’ve had more seasons if they kept the energy
Your complaint at the end doesn't seem to take into account how the show addresses that concept already. Raylene's plot hinges on the existence of a religion that sees transfering your consciousnees to another sleeve (including backups) as effectively killing yourself and damning your soul. Takeshi clones himself and both acknowledge they're not the same person as soon as it's "born", but society demands one of them die at the end due to a law on "double sleeving". One of the bad guys has done that repeatedly to create his own crew who all work together but act more like brothers than anything else. And the fact that sleeving & backing up is so common shows society at large simply no doesn't believe in concepts like an immaterial soul (or at least, not one that can't be transferred). The show doesn't make a firm statement about who's opinion on the topic is right, but it definitely addresses its existence.
The ending of the sequel makes the religious crazy kid kinda right about the doubt about John being Christ or Antichrist. To me John is Christ and this supposed inmortal serial killer would be the Antichrist, and they live forever to make Mankind into balance but the time is ending and one of them should live and decide the fate of Mankind, if we are going to evolve into a better kind accepting John's philosophy of life or be damned and fated in the hands of this still-to-see character.
If you suggest Silver killed Flint, you've simply never read Treasure Island. Anne Bonny's unflattering words to Rackham before hanging, supposedly, was because of how he got caught - so utterly drunk he was basically helpless like a baby. Marry Reed was so incredibly violent and sadistic, she rightfully earned the nickname of "Bloody Mary." And this is a favorite of mine - after the battle where Blackbeard fell fighting like a demon, his body was tossed overboard. And those of his crew who survived, to their last days, swore that his body swam around the ship three times before sinking to the depths.
One thought I had when you talk about souls is that they don't talk about souls as it pertains to clones, is it really you, etc... Well first they would have to admit in their universe that their is a soul. Part if the motive for religion coding was because they wanted their soul to be free...nobidy is supposed to leluve forever. What would we be Well the philosophical question though asked different ways is do humans really have a soul...because if all the human suffering we will inflict. And if we do have a soul dies it truly die when we die. If I can live forever and backup my conscience do I lose my soul? This is why...in theory the mega rich become corrupt and Ray also becomes corrupted. Because you have to ask if we can live forever by recopying ourselves do we lose our soul. Tekashis is on a quest now to prove his live either right or wrong. When he finds her after however many years, decades, centuries, etc ..will he still have a soul and will she? I think that's why souls and copies and clones isn't specifically addressed but the question is asked subtlety...and I like that
thought this was a fever dream I had when I was 14 I remembered almost nothing from the show except the dream king Jesus child and Bart this show is what happens when writers are told "go nuts"
I don’t know why TWD strives so much for realism because their zombies are like snail slow and really dumb, it’s hard to believe they overpowered the military so from the very beginning I never believed in their world building. To be honest I watched it mainly for the phenomenal acting, sound design and the detailed costume on make up, something you would get from a soap opera which it essentially became.
