The fact that he was able to make it have a full interior AND make it stable enough to be picked up is insane. Why doesn't LEGO do stuff like this? They should hire this guy!
Hey Man!! this is seriously insanely great MOD for the 75192! If you don't have instruction for this, you need to star working on this! I really need them! please share with me!! I can pay for it! I want to star build mine and apply your MOD's!
I’ve watched this video from top to bottom, many, many times since December. I’d like to personally thank you for all that you’ve accomplished, and would like to invite you to check out any of my last 7 videos. I’ve mentioned you and some other sources several times on my channel, and would love your feedback if you’re still out there. If not, that’s okay. Just know that your moc was highly influential for my 75192 Falcon design, and I’m grateful for your contribution to the Lego Star Wars community.
I checked out your work. Very good job, and I really appreciate you mentioned mine. Actually, once I started building it, I hesitated quite a long time about tiling all the outer parts. I was not really convinced in grey and wing plates are difficult to deal with in a no-stud design, so I gave up the idea. But I must admit that it has a certain charm in white. On the bottom, I saw you used inverted tiles; Personally I preferred to reverse entire plates. The trick was to use 2- and 3-fingers lego hinges to make the stud inversion. That way you could have used standard tiles that are available with more different geometries than reversed ones. Anyway, thanks for the nice comments and good luck to you with your builds. And who knows, maybe one day I will find some time to build the x2 scale I wanted to do initially
@@legomodder3891 Sir, I did try the 2 and 3 hinge plate trick before going with inverted tiles. I figured that’s what you did, as well. Honestly, I probably watched the underbelly part of your video the most. I wasn’t getting a firm snout connection with them, which is a shame, because I ordered A LOT of them. Oh, well. Thank you so much for responding, and I’m glad you’re still out there. You’re a legend in the custom Lego space, and I learned a lot from you.
There so many questions I would like to ask to try to reproduce, even only a bit, your MOD... Let's go for an easy one... What parts did you use to connect the pillars to the access ramp at 0:40 ? I can't see / can't find what parts would suit... Great joy, by the way, really amazing !
Hi. The parts you mentioned are 2736 and 14418. As far as I know this is the smallest ball-joint possible. The 2736 is connected to a 51677 liftarm. The rest of the pillar is connected thanks to a 55013 beam type to the lift arm on its second slot. Hope it helps.
@@legomodder3891 This helps a lot ! Thanks for answering... Just one more question, What part is the 51677 liftarm ? I can't find it on BrickLink. Is there any other reference ? Is it a typo ? Or I am looking bad ?
@@legomodder3891 Oh, man, sorry for the questions... I see now how you you did with the bottom of the pillars... But I cannot reproduce how you did it at the top of them ! There is always something that gets stuck... What you did is amazing ! I'll one try to reproduce the inside. But I'm far to have your skills. I have to train more on less complex system. I thaught the access ramp was accessible for me !
Dude, I really fell in love with your mod!! How can I get any instructions and parts list of your mod if I ask? I saw your Kickstarter project page and I'm really sorry that it was unsuccessful. But I'll definitely pay for the instruction and parts list personally!
do you have any pictures of the technic frame from when you were building it? I would love to try a mod like this but would probably need some reference
Only pictures I got are the ones in the description of the 1st video. There is not much but it could give you some base to start from... (I did not think to make photos at that time. Sorry)
As much as I think the ucs millennium falcon is the best lego star wars set ever made, this is probably the best mod I've seen for it too. My only "complaint" while building was some of the missed opportunities when it came to the lack of interior, and seeing this definitely shows that it would benefit from having such a detailed full interior. But I can also understand that having a 15k piece lego set would be rather expensive, and, at the end of the day, it is a set that will be mostly displayed closed up. So I can excuse the lego company for not creating a full interior for the set, but I'm extremely glad to have came across a MOC as amazing as yours. Great work, somehow improved on a perfect set, 10/10.
I agree. To fit such detailed interior into the lego version of the falcon.. You did an amazing job. Im currently planning to build my own version, but from scratch, and I have to say, you added some good inspirational ideas to my project. Thx again, and good luck on the Kickstarter.
I got this set a few weeks ago and it's still all sealed up. I'm holding off on building it until I can find some instructions for a full interior like this. You'd be doing God's work if you reverse engineered this set to provide instructions.
Similarly can’t believe it took this long to find you moc. Amazing work, always a disappointment with the UCS that the interior was so disregarded, something they seem to have realised with the new At-At. I saw that your kickstarter didn’t manage to get off the ground. If plans for this turned up on Rebrickable though it would get a lot of attention. There are some great exterior mods there, (love Bigfoot’s escape pod that gives a Kessel profile) but no interior ones. Given the initial expense of the UCS would happily drop top dollar for plans to upgrade the interior to this standard, something that is way beyond my ability to do myself.
Yes I know I should publish this on a dedicated Lego thread... I did not have time so far and above all I did not take enough picture of the build so that it can be interesting for people to follow how it is made. I have a particular interest in building 2x-scale MF that's why I tried to do a kickstarter with no success. My intention is to upgrade other ships (with detailed interiors) such as swowspeeder or else but I want them to be at scale with the MF. And improving details at this scale, for example on X-wing, don't let any margin... To do so the only way is to enlarge the MF. But requires quite a lot of pieces...
No I basically rebuild everything. actually you must abandon the original structure if you want to have a flat floor. I attached some pictures in the description (it’s the only ones I’ve got)
Would you mind rebuilding the frame and taking a picture of it and posting it my brother and I destroyed our UCS millennium falcon and are attempting to rebuild something like you're but I am stuck at the frame if not could you explain how it was mad and what parts you used from the instructions thanks
hi ! in the description I put 2 pictures of the frame (you’re not the first one asking those). It’s all I have. unfortunatly I will not rebuild it. too much work, time and money ^^ and I can’t unmount this one considering that all the lighting is in place now (look at the second video !) I hope it will help you to build your own.
@@legomodder3891 thanks man I appreciate the help I saw your photos and I realized that I can follow the instructions and then leave out the second layer of the middle and fill the rest with base plates and make a customer interior all using the pieces of the original build. thanks
Did you modified the top pannels at all? if so can you take pics of the undersides of the hatches if possible? also, can you take a picture of the left entry door cuz there are no good angles of it in both vids. thanks in advance!
The top panels are a bit modified indeed. I will add those pictures in the description next week. I don't understand what you want to see of the left docking ring though; There is no opening mechanism on this side.
@@legomodder3891 sorry I wasn't clear, I wanted to see how the docking ring was connected to the 6x8, which was what I meant by door. Thanks for the reply!
The LEGO original structure is simply oversized for the purpose. Plus, even with a double technic layer, there is no reason for having more than one brick distance in between. Actually, the only reason I see for the original version design, is the simplicity, justified by the absence of an interior.
This one of the best mods I’ve seen. Very good attention to detail, and creative methods of construction. I like how you included the forward storage areas. These tend to get left out on many mods/mocs due to the structural requirements of a millennium falcon made of legos. Very good work.
Thx a lot. Seems that finally this mod starts to have a bit of a success here. I would love to do a x2 scale but still need to find some funds. Look for my second video with the lights integrated to the ship if you are interested.
@@legomodder3891 Merci pour votre réponse. Je ne veux pas dire que vous devez créer un mod. Au contraire, je n'ai jamais vu de conteneur de fret pour le faucon comme mod n'importe où. Salutations de la Suisse
