@@Brennen_Nisporic I’ll definitely have the funds to hit up esk8con next year as planned, I just need to find a way to get my board there since I’ll be upgrading it to hopefully compete in the races but if you still got room for members I’ll be down to join 💯
Nice dude. Stayed on him the entire time and after three laps of patiently watching his patterns, you figured out the spot where you had an opportunity. I'm wondering if he took that turn wide simply due to fatigue - five laps is definitely a long time!
When I talked to him after the race he said his legs were getting tired on that lap and I could tell he was slowing down so I went for the pass. I’m glad I was able to make a clean pass and no one got seriously injured on our race.
The importance of getting around slower traffic asap... you can get away with an aggressive move if you can pull away and show that you were being held back anyways.
Yeh that literally makes no sense unless its used or someone is messing with you or the manufacturer purposely put those bare spots there so eventually they would touch and destroy it and you have to get a new one or repair it hmmmm🧐
Thanks for your feedback ,really Sorry for your bad experience. glad to see you are ok, we will figure out what is wrong the ESC as soon as possible make sure it won't happen again and we will definitely send you a new ESC.
It is the capacitor on ESC. Use a volt meter both capacitors need to hold 40v. When electric motors don't turn on it is the capacitor. You can dent the capacitor causing a short and dropp the voltage.
Same thing happened to my on my hobbywing esc. It locked up on me and sent me flying. It happened to me on a hot day. Just buy a new one, nothing you can do.
Mine does the same, except literally only after I’ve refilled the reservoir. Dumps at least 4 gallons into the sump after filling the 15 gallon reservoir.
Ended up trading the losi eight T rtr for a used tlr 4.0 truggy with a samurai .21 and took that thing to our local track. I have videos on the race if you wanna check it out. Sadly though right after I got going in the 1/8th scale nitro buggy and truggy racing our local track shut down. Closest track to me is three hours away so my Rc’s spend a lot more time on the shelf.
Did u open controller and see if switch is changed for alarm.... I am new to this and trying to hook mine up but my pump is bad .... I bought mine used. I am still learning
I had the same issue with mine just last weekend, the unit was about 3 years old. Pumped roughly three gallons ro/di water into the sump, the high water level alarm never activated.
Just got the same unit from Marine Depot, set it up and mine does almost the same thing except it runs in 15 second increments: on and off, on and off, on and off... and totally ignores the optical sensor. Only cuts off when the float switch is activated and the "too high" alarm is triggered. I keep reading how people NEVER have problems with these but my experience so far has been the opposite. I bought this to have peace of mind, reliability and to be able to keep a larger water reservoir so that I can actually go on a vacation for a week, but now I don't have any
Failures in electrical components do happen, just a fact of life. This unit is traditionally very reliable, and for every malfunction there are thousands of them plugging along happily for years at a time. If you're concerned about it, looking into adding a flow lock and/or a mechanical float valveas a safety option, both seem to work well.
After sending this video to tunze, they asked me to send them the whole unit. I sent the unit to them and within a week they repaired the unit and sent it back to me free of charge. I’m very happy with the customer service I received from them. Highly recommend tunze. This is the first unit I’ve ever had with any issue. I’ve installed close to 12 of these on my customers tanks.
When the weather here in California gets better I’d like to take it out again. Currently the smoke from these fires has me trapped inside. The air is terrible here.
Mines nose heavy with the go pro. I tried situating all the electronics in the rear compartment since the battery has to sit up in the nose. Also adding some weight to the rear of the plane helps a lot. When I added the go pro I put 4 quad copter motors in the rear to help balance it out. The plane was super heavy but flew pretty nice. The best thing to do is add the aura 5 lite board to your plane it’s a simple gyro that keeps your plane steady in the air.
