Somehow I managed to start in second place for the final race. We had a good clean start, just had to wait for the opportunity to pass and take my shot. Thank you esk8con for putting on such an awesome event! Can’t wait for next years race. #esk8con #gopro #racing #podium

Nice dude. Stayed on him the entire time and after three laps of patiently watching his patterns, you figured out the spot where you had an opportunity. I'm wondering if he took that turn wide simply due to fatigue - five laps is definitely a long time!

When I talked to him after the race he said his legs were getting tired on that lap and I could tell he was slowing down so I went for the pass. I’m glad I was able to make a clean pass and no one got seriously injured on our race.
