I always have Naga food even though its been 9 years of my stay in Bangalore, I can never go without my Naga food.😄 We make axone and Smoked Pork at home in Bangalore( have a make shift fireplace in my backyard).
You can't expect foreigners and people from mainland India to eat like us. They eat a lot of sweet so they won't be use to eat like us. We are the best 😂
Our naga cuisine takes time to get used to with pungent flavours and strong smell. It definitely requires more time for new people to get acquired with the taste so its understandable. But one thing is for sure once you get addicted to naga food there is no turning back. Period. 😊
A true foodie would love the food from any place,a true foodie should dare to try out something new and be prepared for it,if it's not your thing and you don't like leaving your comfort zone then better don't try bizzarre foods
Our naga food is an acquired taste which means it takes time to get acquainted to the taste. So i understand why people who arent used to our cuisine has hard time. But trust me if anyone starts eating our food for long period of time im sure nobody will say its bad food.
Intresting ..beef jerky? Fiod here is pure, we have additives even in our beef jerky. I have been to nagaland..mokokchung, kohima, dimapur, ate at a bamboo kinda eatery in Mokokchung, was tsken here for a brunch kinda thingy..i must admit, the food was mouth drooling, i couldnt stop eating. My local friend, she psid the bill i didnt even know when. I left roughly 15% tip , the food n service deserved it, honestly. The waitress came jogging down the wee hill , to give me back the money, did she think i forgot it on the table? My new pal said, to her in local lingo: that's a tip. I dinned at the best eaterys for local cuisine on t rip advisor in dimapur and kohima..the duck huge, massive mouth watering thali in dimapur 350 rs a thali was outstanding, the beef and smoked pork and veggie dishes were yummy too. I luved it hugely! Found a great church too in kohima..faith harvest. I luved north east heaps, soo much so i'm back verry soon or latest durring hornbill dec 2019.🍒
Over attitude two girls staying in Nagaland eating the nagas food & showing bad reactions of food habit and don't use spoon, forks, use hands that will be much tastier don't behave like ur own country life style these two ladies are disrespecting our culture & don't ever eat our tradition food.
Actually you should have food vit hand ...... Well visit to Nagaland once than you vil get to test many different types of food like, topeih, yansoi boil, yamshah, yam Aunt etc 🤣 text time try to have with ✋and thank you so much
I'm Naga and I don't like bamboo shoots smell seriously it smells like shits so. Infact original Nagas don't eat fry food. We know how to cook fresh and delicious food without frying. Frying actually kills the taste and not healthy.
I have seen lots of foreigner trying Indian food which is also including hajmola almost every one of them hates it and one commented that it's like a brust of chemical in your mouth and we the Indian eat hajmola as an chakna(starter) that's how much we are found of.
