Excellent video! Thanks for making this! The rubber on my top roller looks good like your lower roller. I’m wondering if the top sprocket is wollered out like your lower sprocket causing the lower drive roller to do all the work and with it slip and wear on the rubber. I’ll check it out and the spring length too. Thanks again…👍
See the Case rake doing work, the dang tongue broke clean off of mine last time I was raking. Got to get it welded back on and ready for the next time we head to the field.
That’s a great video, good sized windrows and the 330 appears to be taking the hay fine. Couple of questions if you don’t mind. Looking at your older video replacing the pickup tines, was the additional length of the tines noticeably beneficial picking up the hay and getting it into the baler? I also noticed you have what appears to be a full set of compression rods on your pickup compression rack. Do you run the full set in heavy hay like in this video? Taking notes here in VA for use with my 335…. Thanks!
Thanks. Yes the 330 takes hay very well. It will take all you can shove in it and more. It's amazing how much hay it takes. Yes the longer pickup teeth made quite a bit of deference in how it picks up hay. I'm glad I replaced them. Yes I run a full set of compression rods. It helps with feeding hay into the bale chamber. I made the extra rods out of 3/8 rod I picked up a Lowe's. I used an original for a pattern. They lasted two seasons and now I have lost two of them. I guess I will break down and pay mother deere there hi price for new ones. LOL. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
Man yeah Mr Monty, that's gonna make some very nice hay!! I could ride along on either tractor for hours!! Hopefully the weather holds out, and you can get some rolls made!! Thank you sir for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing what's next!! 👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸
There was a mouse nest in front of the radiator. And the temp gauge is not actorate anymore. No, it only has one hydraulic outlet. Plus don't think it has enough power and weight to handle the 330.
Well I hope we seea part two Mr Monty!! That little tractor would be hamdy to have for sure!! Hopefully it wasnt anything major!! Enjoyed the ride my friend!! I hope you have a great week!! 😁😁👍👍
There was a mouse nest in front of the radiator. And evidently the temp gauge isn't accurate. It's ok and back to work. I don't use the Kubota very much anymore, it really doesn't fit my operating anymore.
@@Pennies_on_the_dollar yeah. It has a industrial loader on it. I would like to find a backhoe for it and just leave it on it. I have used it to move round bales before, you have to leave the bush hog on the 3pt or the rear is to light. It gets a little tippy sometimes.
A little late Mr Monty but made this one!! I think I missed the spreader video 🤔 Anyway, sounds like you have been busy and had some Nelson luck 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ I agree love those patches with the plug on it, but yep.... probably not worth the wrestle on a skid steer tire!! Hope the baler repairs go well and look fwd to the season my friend!! Thank you very much for bringing us along! Hope you have a great week sir!! 😁😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Better late than never. The spreader video is still up. I think the baler will go good. Yeah, skidsteer are no fun to mount. Your welcome. I didn't miss editing videos, but I did miss the chit-chat of the comments. I'm looking forward to seeing your planter video. I hope the modifications helped. Thanks for watching and commenting Nelson.
@@VintageFarm1086 I am gonna head back and catch that spreader video!! I know the feeling of editing!! Thank you sir, won't be long maybe Sunday possibly 😉😉😁😁
Man yeah Mr Monty, spreading that gold!! I have to say, I busted out laughing when you were setting it up, and testing. "We already got 💩 all over the side of the tractor" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was epic and perfect timing!!!I I hope you can get it dialed in exactly how you want it, and the road travel issue. That 10 sure sounds good, even through the cab! Thank you sir for bringing us along!! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah, I forgot to drive into the wind. Being in a cab tractor I ferget about the wind sometimes. I'm still working on dialing in. It's more the neighbors complaining about the road then I really care about the road. There hasn't been any farming going on on the road in 30 years. The 10 does sound good with a load behind it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Man yeah Mr Monty!! I enjoyed that!! Brings back alot of memories for me!! That chain thing is a lifesaver for sure!! A 2 for one!! 😁😁 You said it right, its on the ground, no one got hurt! I would be rustier than that for sure! That husky was eating some wood 😉 Thank you My friend for bringing us along!! Hope you have been well sir!! 😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
I'm glad you like the video. Yes, the most important thing was trees on the ground and no one hurt. I don't like cutting leaning trees. Yes the husky is a wood eating machine. Your welcome.
Man yeah, the handiness of a skid steer is never ending!! I'm late Mr Monty but made it! Man y'all did get some good snow!! We are now at 71 degrees today , it's so crazy!! Have a great weekend Mr Monty and look fwd to seeing what's next;! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
You just gotta love it when the old equipment still does a great job. Shame that the bugs got to the potatoes but, it ain't always easy to keep up sometimes.
After seeing all of that hay chaff blowing around, I feel the need to go take a shower. 🤣 I usually roll the tails of my load straps like you have done there. 👍🏻 Take care.
