Most of those look so real! The feathers look so convincingly soft! Hard to believe these are made of wood, even after watching them carve the dang things! ================================================================================================================================================
This is not merly my comment.... This is my wish..... I would like to attend the course and Explore the beauty of land and more Over that I love to learn the wood carving .... I don t Know how this will happen
I miss my grandfather! I aim to be like just like him and to be in room full of wonderful people, I’d say that’s heaven. A simple man, with a tool in his hand. Just tinkering away. In this case, chipping a way.
I 1st heard about her when I was taking my 1st seminar with Floyd Scholz in 2012. She had even then left a great wake behind her in her loss. What an abject and senseless tragedy. I found your video a few years ago and periodically I still pull it up to become immersed in several moments of inspiration and artistry. I find that I actually learn while watching and listening to her. It's a great production and a great memorial to her, too. Thank you, and thanks to Lona.
It just doesn't get any better than this. A True Craftsman who captures not only the beauty of his subjects, but the imperfections and living spirit of each carving he does. My hats off to you sir.
I went to school with Lona....she was my best friend back then, but I was from SD, so after graduating I never saw or spoke to her again! I just found out today that she passed...I find myself sad, even tho it's been over 40 years since I last spent time with her! She would have me draw a line....and she would make some really good artsy thing with it...she was amazing from way back!
I am at a loss for words but that is so incredibly realistic. I volunteer at a wildlife refuge and I’ve worked with kestrels. That literally looks like the bird I once knew. So beautiful! Keep up the good work!
This gave me CHILLS! Such grace in her movement and the camera work is spectacular and the music fits well and the editing is on beat. I am in awe. As a young filmmaker, this is truly inspiring.
