Came from the step by step of making stickers. Loved your advice. I've been looking for the right material for the longest time. Thank you so much. Love your channel
Definitely would try this! I appreciate the detail and how you showed us alternatives to those of us without a ring binder. Thank you so much! Your tutorial is amazing! <3
Thanks so much... I'm on the process of the script, and playing everything that I could in my head and onto the script. Great idea of drawing on paper, scan and then post it as a web comic. I'll be checking out the comic and hopefully getting my first ever book comic.
Thank you sooo much for this video!! Now I just need to get a good printer for my sticker paper, is there any model you’d recommend today in 2024? Thanks for the help 🙏🏻
I'd recommend checking the description box of this other video I posted: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UtXJQjscMY8.html There's a few printer recommendations for sticker making! :)
You can also make hand drawn stickers like us graffiti/street artists. We do art in our blackbooks, or on sticker paper. Each 'slap' (handdrawn/painted sticker) is an individual work of art. I scanned my art into Corel, then used sticker paper for my HP printer 🖨 and hand cut them.after sealing them for art that was in high demand. Great video. I am always looking for new ideas for slaps!
There is some truth to the statement that a lot of the art that is most revered is very ugly. And I'm not just talking about modern or or post-modern art. If you look at a lot of the figure sketches of Michelangelo and Da Vinci, they drew a lot of very lumpy people. Every time I look at those sketches I find myself thinking "Those aren't muscles. Those are tumors." Why they chose to draw like that I'm not sure, but I feel like a lot of Renaissance art isn't supposed to be aesthetically pleasing, it's supposed to serve an instructional or didactic purpose, or a religious purpose.
Yes! I mean Da Vinci used a lot of a straight up cadavers for his work. And I feel in art history, even when "pretty" people were represented, it still meant to serve a narrative - like the Greek God and Goddess statues for example... they're supposed to be mighty Gods, so it makes sense to represent many of them with what people at that time viewed as the highest form of beauty or distinguishment. I feel the "art should always be pretty even for no reason" mindset is a fairly recent phenomenon (I'm guessing 20th century?). Probably set on by the widespread commercialization of art in general.
Great videos! I love that you create your art organically through a hand tight medium. I work in black-and-white pastels and color my images in affinity photo or photo shop. I’m interested in trying gosh because of your tutorials. A couple of ideas on your printers, do head cleanings everyday and may need to do a power cleaning every once in a while. Also, I have an eco tank printer. Are you refilling your cartridges to save money on ink? Also, I found your channel today I’m really enjoying the information you share.
Oh dear, head cleanings everyday would drain my ink so fast, it uses so much each time🥺 I find just making sure to print in full color every few days keeps it clog free. But really have to stay on top of it. And I just recently started using a refill system and is working well so far! Glad to have you here, so glad you're enjoying the content!! :D
I love gouache. I love this gouache. I really wish I could find some gouache artists with a realistic painting style as an artist that is just really starting the journey into realistic art.
