Almost thought you were going to do 6 ÷ 2(1+2) correctly, but you got it wrong. You didn't apply distributive property on this one. You correctly did it in another problem but not on this one. If you do apply distributive property, then you will get 6/6 which is 1. Think about it. That 2 was factored out of the brackets. So 2 belongs within the brackets. Properly applying distributive property would result in 6÷(2*1+2*2) or 6÷(2*3). Beauty of math is, if you correctly apply rules, you will get the same result regardless of which part you solve first.
you said thanks buddy but not that you agree or not.. take a modern sharp calculator and see what you get for6/2(2+1). multiplication by juxtaposition comes first . the answer is 1. if you agree say so. If not say so and why.. if you agree redo your video because the rest is right.😂
Can you put it into a calculator? Because if you do, then you are going to be saying that every single calculator doesn't work meaning that you can't do math with a calculator

On the last problem, when preferring to rearrange the 2 terms, is it improper to multiply the 2 terms by -1 to avoid carrying forward a negative? Or, is this as acceptable as factoring out a negative? if both are acceptable why would you choose to introduce a negative in the solution?
It’s not the same and therefore improper. Multiplying by a negative isn’t the same because you’re introducing a new value into the expression that will result into an expression that isn’t equivalent to the original. Multiplying by a negative works as an alternative when you have an equation, not an expression.
