From a beginning math teacher: Mr. Whitt is the best math teacher on YT, in my opinion. I'm 58 and have seen and heard a lot of math teachers in my life.
As a high school algebra 1 teacher, I really appreciate how clearly you explain the problem solving steps to your students. Your videos have made me a better teacher. Thank you and Happy New Year.
It's actually helpful. I've a dream to learn Mathematic subject. I've been working hard on this maths. They don't teach us at College like this easy. I appreciate your fantastic skills of teaching! Thank you for your good time.
In problem 5, I used the fact that the vertical distance was 30 feet more than the horizontal distance as given in the problem and used the equivalent fact that the horizontal distance was 30 feet less than the vertical distance. In problem 2, I did a similar way with the length and width of a 12 square foot rectangle. The problem stated that the length was 1 foot less than the width, it's equivalent to say that the width was 1 foot more than the length of this rectangle.
