I have been using soft rubber beads now mate, the bonus is they glow too, I cut them in half so they are a lower profile www.ebay.com.au/itm/254390453072?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=6wRWekJ3Q8i&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=h_y-MoNIQ9a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Mate I like your idea with the castration rubber. I live not far out of tuncurry. Do you buy it in town somewhere. If so, where abouts and is it tube you buy if so what size. Thankyou.
Hi mate after your last video I’ve purchased a pair of the adrenaline at your recommendation. Worn them several times know and love them. Nice firm fit all over and still comfortable. Great grip on the lower ledges with weed and crap. Thanks again. 👍
@@jonnywaselectric gee that’s a blow. No worries I’ll get the notification and have a look. Greatly appreciate the videos to. I’ve used a number of your ideas. Stay safe 👍
It’s good especially when you have a ton of pickers and they just nibble your bait off anyway …chicken can be cheap as chips if you have a shop like fresh n save and get chicken on discount in bulk 😎
Thanks for the review I’ve been tossing up what to go with. Think I’ll give those adrenaline a try. How did you find the sizing and fit. I’ve got fat feet.
I wear size us11 wide shoe, but for these boots I wear a size 10, if they are tight stuff an old shirt or something in each boot for a couple days and try them, you might need to do it a couple times if you have a wide foot. They will wear in after a few trips.
@@jonnywaselectric thankyou that’s great really appreciate you getting back to me. I ducked out early this morning to chase a Jew on a softy and had a good fall. No Jew either lol. I’m ordering some today thanks again 👍
@@Jippo-pq4gu it took half an hour to walk into the spot, broke it then took 90 minutes solo hobble back to the car, then an hour drive to the hospital, had to park 2 blocks away cause I couldn't find a park spot too
I've since made a new design mate, it's one of my most recent videos, it's easier to make, no wire just drill a big hole through the side straight through
@@jonnywaselectric new to your channel. I really like your diy ideas. Especially based around bait collection. I will for sure make it to the Mk 2 vid very soon Keep on brain storming and fishing mate 👍
To be honest mate I have not hooked any, I have thrown them for half an hour and then switched back to a plastic as it's deep water, they would be perfect in 2 to 3m of water around the rocks in the wash
I don't think there is one, it will just have a bag limit. I think the best way to cook them is a crumb or batter and fry them. Add some curry powder to the flour to give them some flavour.
well, ive been making these with 40lb braid for my tassie devils, trolling for trout, and yep, beaudy...how the hell do you rig a split ring to a whiting soft plastic ???, cheers
Glad to help mate, that was my solution with what I had, I think a better solution would be to thread the plastic on the front, then slide a soft rubber bead on the hook, depending on the bead size I would probably cut it in half so it's a smaller profile. Get into em mate
Hey mate do you have any websites that have the 200mm ripple shads in stock because they dont make them any more and are the best lure for jew by far ??
I just had a mate hit me up for some, I had 15 new 20cm ones here and he took 7. It sounds like they are just all sold out everywhere he was looking for ages. He mentioned Mo Tackle couldn't even get any for him. If I come across any stock I'll let you know.
@@rileypaine6555 not recently, I've been using 5 inch diezel minnowz with a 5/0 1oz jighead last few trips, there is plenty of small jews there which is good to see
The seller I usually get mine from is sold out, I think these here will be just as good www.ebay.com.au/itm/303634607290?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=6wRWekJ3Q8i&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=h_y-MoNIQ9a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I should have listed to you guys. I bought the same line in a 300 meters spool. I was trying to load it on a Penn Slammer IV 5500 reel which is supposed to hold more than 400 meters of 0.25 line, and roughly 300 meters of 0.33 diameter line. To my surprise I was not able to load the 300 meters on the reel under tension. (It was not my first time loading a reel. 🙂) This line must be as thick as you guys measured it. I was able to load over 200 meters for sure. Probably about 250-270.
Good one mate. I was only looking at those expensive stinger hooks today. Nearly pulled the trigger then went, nah, maybe I can make my own. Now with your help I can. Thanks mate.
