That's raining alot in wes kaap. In Austria we have summer now, it's above 30 degrees, but sometimes heavy thunderstorms in the afternoon. Stay safe my friend.
Hi Willie, I have a meter but blow constantly full of leaves and pine needles, but I guess we sit in the same order more or less, with my sandy soil we have no water puddles, water sink in immediately
Hello Mr Jan, I totally understand !! Boy I would love to have some of that rain and those colder temps too!! Looking fwd to seeing more on the Farmall!! Stay safe my friend!! 😁😁
Meanwhile, Arizona has major road closures due to wildfires. Hopefully I can get to the airport tonight! Enjoy your week of rain Jan! Hope flooding isn’t too bad. Take care.
Thank You Henry, here specific it more a constant rain like you see in the car, sometimes it came down hard and slow back again, some areas have more snow
I had a nice surprise yesterday, as I drove over the top of the Hex River Pass there was nice thick snow, even managed to build a snowman. Go well bud. Looking forward to seeing the Farmall running again.
I really don't know for this size Bryce, I ordered the current set from Steiner USA, i will check if the other three do the same, I accidentally picked it up when I check for spark just before a start up attempt and that made my worried
I just watched the last couple of videos, you are on the right track. Hopefully after cleaning the carburetor she will run again. Thumbs up my friend 👍
Good evening Jan. Look just a wee tight there Jan.. get them set correctly, the head bolts torqued properly.. and as long as the head gasket isn't screwed up, that should do it 🤞
Ed the spec say's 0.017 and I set it at +- 0,015, at least all off them have little movement, after installing the rack it was all WAY to tight, specially 3 and 4, it is a kick my a... dam video to discovered I never press the record on the pressure test but it looks if they jump to 100, if weather allows I will do it over tomorrow and clean the carb
Just adjust that valve for little clearance. Unlock the nut and adjust the gap and lock again and see. Maybe the lockout came loose and screw itself deeper . Check that rocker. Once it start you can adjust all the gaps again. Would say about 0.5mm clearance with feeler guage.
Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Mechanic Repair Sir ( it will work again since you are such an OUTSTANDING Technician 👍😇👌) Is it possible that is n4 is the firing one ? Cheers 🍻🍻
That high vale was probably was ground more than the others. But with the history that engine I would remove the head to see it the gasket is damaged and the valve is OK
Lose head bolts don't help any. I'm with Matt, last valve job could have been a little extra grinding, it happens.. as long as they close and seal, and open as they should. Good luck
That questionable valve may have been ground too much during the last valve job, or possibly the seat hence, the greater protrusion above all the others. Good luck Jan!
Until recently I have always been lucky with Farmall. I'm struggling with mine too. It starts, and runs good for about 20 seconds. It's a process of elimination. In my experience a protruding valve is bad news. I'm not sure what the cause might be. Thank you Jan.
Thanks Henry, I am also stumped, I tried to found something obvious but it seems if I will have to pull the head to have full confidence, I am actually geared to remove the head
