I love falling asleep to the jays back to back series sad part is I always fall asleep before I get into it and get lost . I’ve been running this game back like 4 times at least by now hahhahhahahh. Something about the FULL broadcast with the ads and all is soothing. Not to mention I was8 years old in 92 and come from a small town 2 hours north of Toronto. Suffice to say good times, very good times❤
Griff might not be the best pitcher in the league, but he's a gamer and a competitor. Too bad the defense behind him is so bad during his starts or he'd have a better record.
Me and my wife live in the Mobil home park behind Tom’s party store in East Lansing . It’s been leveled since. We ordered Domino’s pizza in the middle innings. It kept coming late and we ended up getting free pizza’s we need up with 6 free pizza’s. Great night. Tigers win World Series and we were eating a lot of Pizza. lol.
Lol they're literally about to start coverage of Game 7 of the World series and... "You're watching the home of the Super Bowl..." Baseball was football's bitch even in the 90s.
I'm looking for a video of the game when Nolan struck out more than 10 Angels to set two records that night. I was sitting behind Home Plate thanks to my forensic who was friends with Chili Davis. Fastest blur of a pitcher I ever witnessed and he was already in his 40s. Nolan Ryan was one of kind as a pitcher.
Jerry Ruess came up HUGE for the Dodgers in this game. Guidry was an especially tough opponent for the Dodger lineup so Ruess basically had zero margin for mistakes. This is the game that actually decided the World Series.
Looking back all these years later the Indians lacked dominant starting pitching and had at best a sketchy relief staff. They won most of the games because of their prolific offense. I’m still pissed about 95/97! Best teams ever assembled in Cleveland.
@@sazarac28The '95 Tribe bullpen was lights out. The starting staff was very solid, even if not dominant like the Braves. The Tribe had the best ERA in the AL (as well as top batting average). Absolutely dominant team, 0.694 winning percentage (just one win shy of the majestic 0.700 mark attained by but a dozen or so teams in modern baseball history, i.e., since 1900). Just were edged out for this week by a VERY good Braves team (as Costas said even while the Braves were celebrating).
Man,what a great tribute and as I watch the sky above, seems like it wad bleeding aslike the Indians deep believes in sky giving us signs or even omens but in this case it's death and as I remember, the prohecy lies in the sky, what a deep thought and "coïncidence"at the top of the 7th.,no surprise to the broadcasters because seems like they were prepared with the Willie Mays documents even tho they would have showed it ad a Birmingham native!a part of American history perished "under a blood red sky"...unforgettable in every way...thanks for sharing this video and greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪✨
This was Wrigley Field a ballpark in Los Angeles, California. It hosted minor league baseball teams in the region for more than 30 years. It was the home park for the Los Angeles Angels of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), as well as for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB) during their inaugural season in 1961.
