On May 19, 2001, the Seminole High School Warhawks played the St. Thomas Aquinas High School Raiders at Legends Field in Tampa, Florida for the FSHAA Class 5A Championship. John Killalea started for the Warhawks against Jay Lawrence for the Raiders.
Future major leaguers Casey Kotchman and Bobby Wilson played in this game for the Warhawks. Future major leaguer Tyler Greene played in this game for the Raiders.
