Hi, I am 300 moons old. I count everything in moons, it is very confusing for people. I like to build stuff with code so that's mostly what I do in my videos
Hi Kalle, as a suggestion: my approach to recording the times would be to make an entry in the database using project and DateTime.now() every time the time starts. When the time stops, make an entry with project and DateTime.now(), calculate the difference and display it in the project tab. When calculating, then search for all entries from the same project and display the total sum of the times if there are several entries from the same project. So in total you only need to check the entries by project and calculate the sum of the times. I hope that was clearly expressed. Greetings from Germany
pretty sure theres ways to authenticate without the login screen, but its kinda a pain in the ass to set up. its like some long key you have to set up in the gsuite console, i made a cal bot integraion thing purely in python that was hosted on a server with no front end doing this. maybe it was depricated? idk.
Sir, I am inspired by your lifestyle a lot, please make a video on dealing with people and how you manage your thinking after dealing with them. Thank you for providing us such useful contents
I got the idea from Atomic Habits to improve 1% when it comes to studying, and my choice was touch typing! It really has made a difference compared to how I was typing before, plus I find the practice really fun. I’d love to reach 100 WPM by the end of the year!
I came across this video today, and the timing couldn't be better. After a 3-year break from coding, I’ve been feeling frustrated with how much I’ve forgotten. I used to watch your videos for inspiration, and once again, you've reminded me that I’m not alone in this journey. Your video gave me the push I needed to finish a project instead of just staring at the screen and doubting myself. Thank you for that. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Last time i checked your channel was a year ago, vaguely remember that you didnt have any videos that were in my feed for sometime. Maybe the linux installation on xps. all recent videos never shown in my feed. maybe thats why i less views. it happened to me could happen to anybody.
I haven't seen your videos in a long time, I don't know why they don't appear on my home page anymore. Suddenly I remembered, then looked for your channel again and I saw that you were doing live using flutter. I regret not finding this right from the start :( I hope you continue this live even after the project is finished
Bro you spent half of the video trying to open a file from cmd, wrote like 5 lines of code, with only 1 having "logic" by doing the most rudimentary thing ever, slapped an ad for the other half of the video and called it a day. Wow. I don't know what's appealing or useful about this video, maybe people like the edit style, they should go watch roblox or fortnite or whatever cuz this video is brainrot.
BTW, if you didn't find joy in resolving a rather trivial bug during development, then you will absolutely hate resolving issues in a production application.
You are experiencing the problems which are typical of a loosely typed language. At some point in your code the variable has been assigned a value that is not an integer. If you'd used a strongly typed language, then you would never have experienced this problem because the code would not have compiled without error.
Should a Normy like me who wants to be a programmer get into Linux or just stick to windows ? I wanna switch to avoid the ai push from the large companies and maybe try something new
I am a 100% sure I was subscribed to you, as I followed you before you even had 50k subs. To my surprise, RU-vid just recommended your Video to me, and I am not subscribed to you. I subscribed again, but ye, weird stuff.
Disagree about games (although I wouldn’t recommend making a game in flutter). Flutter basically works like a game engine. It draws everything on the screen, on a clear canvas. And the nice thing is flutter provides only the viewer for platforms so that it behaves the same. There is a performance hit but for most apps and mvps it’s an acceptable cost for delivering multiple platforms at the same time. I bet you expected this kind on comment so here you go ;)
The only reason why computers exist in the first place, and why we use them is because they are supposed to be much faster than humans, so SPEED IS EVERYTHING.
How does one manage to successfully enroll into Apple Developer program? That’s the real question. It’s become something very difficult to do and no one knows why.
This is a good assessment. In general, I liked Garuda, but I saw a couple of downsides. First, the commands used, since it is an Arch system, are not at all intuitive. On Fedora, Ubuntu, or Mint the command to update would be (for Fedora) dnf update, or for the Debians would be apt update. On Garuda it was pacman -Syu . Second, the "app store" GUI isn't that good. You can't use the ones from KDE or GNOME to install software, as it actively will tell you that it is recommended to only use those stores for things such as themes or backgrounds. Pamac or Bauh are not that great of GUIs. A major upside I saw was how fast and responsive it was, and that it could do updates or install some of the more common packages like Steam or LibreOffice with just a click. Even the bootloader could be customized with just a few clicks. It also uses the Zen Kernel, which from what I've seen, really does run a bit faster than the standard kernel.
