I don't really see it as an issue though... Malaysia IS a country that have many races living with one another harmoniously. They each have different cultures, different religions and different way of life all together. So in a way, asking that is more of understanding and respecting one's culture and religion.
Tanya ja pun, ko jawab pastu dahla. Bkn ada p pun. Org Barat ni depa overthinking over sensitive sbb insiden perkauman depa lagi teruk. Kita paling2 pun perang komen medsos. Kat luar tu jarang sangatla nk physical.
Nothing wrong with that.. knowing the right information, is different from being denial. It’s all rooted in history of Malaysia. It’s not segregation, but more on acceptance. Difference race = different cultural approach.
Pls do not bring UK s tradition to Malaysia..its not the same..let Malaysian being Malaysian..miss, u just here..we respext each other. I have scotland partner and friend never bother abt it. Get along with it.
Something differentiates us from the rest of the world is our DIVERSITY. Racial profiling is NOT a racist thing in Malaysia. Someone can come say to me , "You are Chinese"; it's not offensive at all. We Malaysians DONT understand how by identifying someone race or religion is racist
Can i say i feel uncomfortable in uk, like i dont feel like i can have a say there or ppl have certain look with me having hijab. But back in malaysia, being a muslim woman, i can be say do freely. Somehow i feel more comfortable in less scrutinized
Depends, if you choose to assimilate, a lot of those looks , maybe all will dissapear. If you want to hold on to your original ways, no country, not even yours, like it when others come to your country and hold on to their original ways.
Discussions about race and cultural dynamics can be complex. It’s true that while there are perceptions of racism within any community, including among Malays, many Malays also have a strong cultural tradition of respect and hospitality. ### Key Points: 1. **Cultural Values**: - **Respect for Hosts**: In Malay culture, there is a significant emphasis on respecting "tuan rumah" (the host) and showing hospitality. This reflects values of politeness and community. - **Budi Bahasa**: The concept of "budi bahasa" (good manners) is highly regarded, promoting respectful interactions among people. 2. **Diversity**: - Malaysia is a multicultural society with various ethnic groups, and many Malays embrace this diversity, celebrating different cultures and traditions. 3. **Challenges**: - Like many societies, Malaysia faces challenges related to race and identity. Stereotypes and generalizations can arise from historical contexts, socio-economic factors, and political narratives. 4. **Community Efforts**: - Many Malays and organizations actively work towards fostering understanding and unity among different ethnic groups, promoting a spirit of togetherness. ### Conclusion While there may be instances of perceived racism, it’s essential to recognize the rich cultural heritage of respect and hospitality within the Malay community. Engaging in open dialogue and understanding can help bridge gaps and foster mutual respect among all ethnic groups. If you have specific aspects you want to discuss further, feel free to share!

kamu rs ianya x perlu kerana kamu bangsa yg kurang cerdik. ini tanah melayu, mana mgkin kamu samakan negara kamu dengan negara org. ia sgt penting utk maklumat dikedepan hari. klu sekadar isi maklumat diri itu kamu kata rasis, rasanya kami kena belajar lebih dalam lagi apa itu rasis. cuba belajar berfikir, bukan sekadar mengkritik. then kamu akan sedar dan akui negara ini lbh baik dari negara kamu sndiri.

But in UK there are many racists people. Almost every time we go out, there will be some white people telling us to go back to our country. What about the term 'pakis' ? Have you ever experienced white people knocking your head and laughing at you. In the UK the racism is not institutionalised but it is there prevalent among the people especially the super white people. But of course, like any other country, there are lots of good people too.
